  1. Really liked Rift (super customizable talents) when it came out around 2011 or so, and just love these open world events and things where hundreds of ppl ride out to some things. Liked some aspects of pvp in most games but was never into dungeons. Really like these spontanous things that come in like a sudden invasion and everyone scrambles and just ride out. Stayed out of mmos for a few years now, but hoping I can find something that fits me again. Did like siege warfare as well (Shadowbane) before wow came out – these large scale events are just etched into my memory.

  2. My favorite was probably a tie between tbc and wrath, but maybe wrath better overall – I was just stuck in a lower end guild at the time and tried to make it work so didn't get the full experience. Got server first on 2 bosses or so then it all fell apart, conflicts and ppl left etc. Now I'm 50 but not giving up damit!

  3. This guys math is really american, TBC sold 2.4 mil copies but somehow it had 10 million active subcribers? Lmao at this point i think Blizzard is actively paying these random youtubers to write random nonsense to make Blizzard look great.

  5. The story adjustment to reset wow is very simple, we lose. EVERYTHING. We fail this expansion, everyone dies. (maybe a few left) and we rebuild in a new world. New cities, new land, old story subtle woven into the new story. We start a new, new spells, new game.

  6. If you think about it, WoW selling in game purchase items is no different than streamers selling their own merchandise. Just trying to suck up every dollar they can from their "customers". Is that a bad thing? Who am I to say?

  7. Vanilla was great. I got lucky to get in a guild that cleared MC, BWL, Naxx, and AQ the learning and sharing of info was such a big part of it. Also wandering around a meeting new players to help with quests was cool. So much about Vanilla just can't be refabricated. It was just the right time.

  8. Jesus, Battle for Azerth and Shadowlands was total GOAT xpac

it's amazing how people seriously think that BFA and Shadowlands are to blame for the decrease in subs, when only the people who play it since vanilla have started a family and had children and eat a corporate life and don't have time to grind WoW for 5 hours a day anymore, unless they are a streamer like Xaryu.
At the same time, both DLC had the best mythic plus season. The best dungs, the best zones. Raids? Ghuun, Jaina, Azshara, Nzoth. Come on, stop lying to yourself.
