  1. “Massive amount of threads or stats” – 180 stats after an hour, possibly more if LFG takes you longer, when frogs have you that in mins! lol. Massive!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  2. Why are people still skipping over the fact that those who were able to farm the frogs before their nerf, are literally months ahead of everyone else on their cloak? If I play the entire 3 months and upgrade my cloak I may, by the end, have one that is equal to what they are currently wearing. Nothing has been done at all to address this disparity. Nor are any youtubers really calling it out. Heck I had a Dk with 9 million health earlier today in a raid. His health barely budged the entire raid.

  3. The event just straight up isn’t fun until they fix the item upgrades. Threads feel fine now but I’m still in ilvl 346 gear because I don’t want to shell out my life savings to get to 360.

  4. i don't care about power, i care about bronze, and giving us more threads doesn't help with that directly because I am strong enough now to earn the current rate of bronze income, but that isn't as fast as farming hyper spawns.

  5. I feel a little silly. I thought this was going to be a super easy deal. Sit back, do some quests, collect some transmog, enjoy some tea and an audiobook, and watch the levels fly by. Nope.

  6. I'd rather have the threads transfer more to the alts. Especially the exp gain. it's annoying to do dungeons and raid all over again to get the exp boost. Samething for the rings and trinkets. Achievements should be account bound so getting them on alts is a giant boost in helping progress

  7. They could have put a 2k daily cap on Lesser Charms of Fortune and avoided having to add in all this random stuff to makeup the power difference. Removing the Frog farm was a lose/lose situation for all players. Farmers will have horrible alts in comparison, and non farmers are a fraction as strong and will give up on the game.

  8. If you care about cosmetics, you can't pursue character power. It's one or the other, not both. And if you do pursue character power, the lower levels are still going to outclass and humiliate you. Easy. The message is clear, it's just a little bit of an anti-climax.

  9. I’m new to MoP didn’t play that exp so don’t know that much about it but I am enjoying the remix….one of the LFR raid the mobs are one shotting people

  10. While leveling I am doing all of the instance dailies every day I can and it's very much worth is as the bronze caches and threads are great, all of the mobs drop bronze for you, and the LFR groups plow through each wing/dungeon/scenario quite smoothely.

  11. Thank you, a lot of really good information here. Still hoping they change gear upgrade costs or improve bronze gains further, but that feels secondary to scaling/thread fixes.

  12. Sorry. i have 1 question. why i wanna maximize the cloak? if its going to reset after new expansion? dont i wanna just get achivs and transmogs? or the more power you have in cloak, the more gear it will give you when expansion comes?

  13. Something else that isn't mentioned here is that rares also drop more threads than normal. You used to get maybe 1 or 2 from a rare and now you get I think up to 10 purple threads. These are not locked out either so killing the same rare multiple times still gives you a big batch of threads. So farming rares in Vale, Timeless Isle or other end-game zones is now much more rewarding. I have only tested this on my max level main though. I don't know if it has any restrictions for alts that may still be leveling.

  14. As a new WoW player (started a few weeks before this event, a friend asked me to try it) I've gotten railed by this event over and over, its not even fun anymore. Didn't farm the frogs to get infinite cloak stats / bronze so I'm stuck doing campaign stuff or grinding achievements for chump change in comparison. This update, they add spools for getting achievements, but you're SOL if you've already gotten them like myself. If they don't up the drop rate for bronze I'm just not gonna play anymore, its not rewarding enough for how much time you have to spend to get it. I've spent so much time getting bronze I was able to get a character to max level, while only getting 42k bronze in the process (granted I wasn't 'farming' dungeons or raids because I wanted to experience a 'new' campaign, I did a few but not many), might seem like a lot, but in reality it's nothing. I got 1 mount with all that bronze, and their is so much more cool stuff to get too like a ton of heroic and mythic raid transmog sets that I think are awesome. But I seriously do not want to grind that much again just for 1 item. I get it's a grindy game but god damn, 140k bronze to max a sword out? I'd have to play everyday for at least 14 hours for the remainder of the event just to max out a single weapon, its actually ridiculous. Do they expect every single player to be abusing these bronze farming methods?

  15. So i held off on farming frogs because i wanted to complete achievements and now frogs are gone and the people who farmed frogs will also get juicier rewards now that they are doing the achievements? big brain blizzard.

  16. At this time of writing the best way to farm bronze is power level, rinse, repeat, and delete the character. Definitely achieving way faster burnout on the game but we also need to still increase bronze for those who want to collect all the things and weren’t around in Pandaria the first time.
