I played + beat this game for the first time as well recently, just like you , using pcsx2. I remember the blur bothers me so much, I took an old 21' crt from my garage, plugged it to my pc, and play with it throughout the entire game. The blur is not as noticable now and the experience is way more authentic, my back is little hurt tho 🤣
