Yups the player base is toxic. I always let people know 1st timer here in raids etc, and i get booted, I play a Mage as my main, Im told hey come join our raid, but when i mention im not sure where to go im treated lkike a total piece of s***. I try to be nice to people but its getting harder and harder to stay in WOW. I love the game, just not the people.
The meta idea has just completely ruined the game. Watched a video last night where the guy had timed every dungeon but had to wait for hours because people making the group just saw resto shaman is the “best” when are people going to realize that the “meta” comp isn’t going to matter for 99.9999999% of players/groups/keys
My bf and I (tank and heal) started to play M+ in DF. We didnt care about add ons, we dont use them at all. We didnt care about comments, made routes as we go and had fun. Planning on doing the same this time.
I quit tanking because it meant I couldn't explore raids and dungeons the way I want. Used to be a policy of follow the tank, if I wanna do optional shit I have my reasons.
I remember selling m15s in BFA as Gdruid and there was one group running a 20 or so and i joined. It was underrot (where leading up to first boss you can go left or right). Depending on the affixes each week the path would vary. I asked if the majority wanted to go right or left (right was more efficient but also a bigger risk). They immediately kicked me after asking and said if i didn't know the route i shouldn't tank. So this is 100% true
Well there are some idiot tanks out there let me tell you, im a tank and a healer and dps in a M+ and if you come unprepared to a M+ which is time based then what the hell do you expect, the least i will do is just leave and the worst i'll call you a fucking idiot and then leave. You are wasting my time, M+ is not where you learn but where you get it done.
I play mostly tank, it's just a lot of fun for me. But it is though sometimes, especially figuring dungeons and routes out. The first 5 or so times in a dungeon you have to learn it, and your mistakes are often fatal ánd everybody sees them. As dps you can learn by looking what the other dps are doing.
Not just mythic dungeons but regular and heroic dungeons, most players seem to just want to “get through” the dungeon fast without enjoying it, instant gratification toxic players….i’m about sick of that shit.
It really annoys me when I am tanking and the dps start whining, to do bigger pulls so they can do more damage, but they don't care if the healer can hold the group or if I have the CDs at the moment to do large pull in fortified….
Going drom brainded DPS to TANK was the BEST DECISION EVER 🎉 MAKES you A Better players AND YOU CAN PLAY THE GAME and not wait in Q for 10mins like a lonely pony
Tanks are considered boreing. It's the classic idea: brain watch big numbers and goes bananas. Toxicity is a close second to me. I remember at Wotlk launch i was tanking a doungeon and people LEFT because i went slow in a never seen before doungeon. The hunter decided to speed up things by agrroing pretty much every mob ever. You can immagine how it went. Today i cosplay indiana jones and do solo fun stuff.
Yall coping hard. Ive tanked every single season in raid and Mythic plus. Never got yelled at, because i did my research on paths and fights beforehand. Thats the meta of the game now, take it or leave it. This isnt 2005 when you are in wailing caverns for 2 hours.
You don't need more tanks in the game.

Just play PvP instead
I used to be a top healer in my guild back in bc. Came back 2 years ago and instantly wanted to stop healing 😅 people suck
Someone giving me shit while I’m tanking. I’ll call them out, then leave. They can enjoy another 50 minute wait for a tank.
People blame blizzard for the downfall of wow. I blame people. It's a different generation taking over and they ruined it. I sound old
That’s why I hated pugs as a tank
The people who bark at tanks for going the wrong way should tank themselves. But they can’t.
Yes people need to stop being assholes. It's why I only run with my guild
I need to block this guy so annoying 😂😂

Spot on, stopped tanking and m+ all together due to toxic attitudes
I quit tanking because it meant I couldn't explore raids and dungeons the way I want. Used to be a policy of follow the tank, if I wanna do optional shit I have my reasons.

As a tank/healer main i approve this message 😅
Dps dooging nothing and then flaming the healer when they die

When you wipe because someone was two steps away from where they needed to be, it's too stressful to be considered a game.

Give tanks / healers automatic loot in m+ and let the dps fight amongst each other
I use to do cutting edge as a tank for a long time. Now that I don’t really have much time anymore I quit tanking and only DPS for this exact reason.
Quite simple.
To some extent tanking is a leader role. It takes quite a lot to lead.
Not just mythic dungeons but regular and heroic dungeons, most players seem to just want to “get through” the dungeon fast without enjoying it, instant gratification toxic players….i’m about sick of that shit.
Hey buddy just wanted to shout out and hope you have a great Saturday afternoon!
There is literally a reason for every tank route. This is straight shitter causal talk lol. So follower dungeons if you want this.
I’ve tanked forever and I’ve not found too much push back.. if there is I get insta ques anyways so jokes on them
Or using raid strats that don't work for their janky ass guild
Well the rush meta makes many dungeon runs quite stressful. To let toxic kids dictate how the game should be played is very bad imo.
It really annoys me when I am tanking and the dps start whining, to do bigger pulls so they can do more damage, but they don't care if the healer can hold the group or if I have the CDs at the moment to do large pull in fortified….

See I only have words with the tank or healer when I’m certain they screwed up. Otherwise I shut my mouth and hit stuff, because that’s my job.
Player base is what fucks up all good games. I use to tank and heal and i just dont now because of players but also because of blizzard.
I’m not taking anymore. I am tired of all the negative stuff.

world of warcraft become world of woke craft pathetic zoomers… man up
I take those assholes on a M+ train all the way to the last boss then hearth out haha
