  1. The easiest way to sort the LFR issue is to have 2 different loot tables on it. LFR can have it's loot table so the casuals can gear and get nice stuff, Guilds can go in and get different stuff with their mates. Non LFR raids should drop much better gear.

  2. It's not a healthy population going into Cata. EU went from tens of servers to 3-4 playable servers from 15-20 something at 60. At one point there were 600 Alterac valleys up at a single time, now we might have one.

  3. DIfference between RDF and LFR is that with RDF nothing changes. The challenge is still the same, the mobs and bosses have the exact same mechanics and dmg numbers. Its just with randos.
LFR on the other hand nerfs the raid content so fucking hard that you can auto attack bosses to death and completely ignore mechnics. It gets even worse in MoP when you could just force wipe on a boss and get a stacking buff for each wipe. My best memory of this is doing the iron qoon with 10 stacks of this buff.
For those who never got to try it, this is what this buff does:
    Damage dealt increased by 5%.

    Healing received increased by 5%.

    Health increased by 5%.
That times 10 is what happened when the SLIGHTEST challenge happened in LFR, which as anyone who have actually raided in any version of the game from LFRs inception, Its down right fucking retarded.
But hey, if the classic community have taught me anything, so many of you are so goddamn bad at this game that you will need it. Honerable mentions of said players goes out to the guilds that was still progressing illidan in the wrath pre-patch. Its a 1 button rotation fight, you can't get that right then LFR will be just the place for you.
Or the kara run i did in full SWP gear as a tank and we could not kill illhoof because the DPS was so fucking shit that he OUTHEALED the DPS. Yeah i did not know that was i mechanic until i saw it first hand myself.
But you guys know what will the most prevelent toxic thing ever in LFR? The parse whorse. Jesus fucking christ. If People spamming Recount in raid chat in MoP LFR was bad, i can only imagine how awful it will be with team "im god tier parse but i can't play the game for shit becuase mechanics are ment to be skipped and if they can't be skipped and i can't patchwerk play every raid boss then its a shit boss".

TL;DR Don't add LFR, it will be a toxic cesspool of shit players being carried by actual raiders because said raiders need to do LFR for weekly progress or other shit we don't want to deal with.

  4. I would like to see the next expansion be the end of the world and your character has to go back in time and help alter the course of Azeroth in time. When you do that, you start WoW2 back in Vanilla story wise at first level, but with enough changes to quests and things to make it not as predictable as it would be. If you wanted to go back and visit WoW1, you can take a portal back to that timeline. If you didn't complete the end of the world event, then you just start at first level in WoW2 as an all new character. Expansions should be handled differently to keep the feel of classic WoW to a great degree with great heroic characters instead of fan boy characters with soft feelings. My main complaint with WoW expansions was that with all the flying mounts and such fast travel, it made the world feel very small. I want to get back to big worlds to explore with interesting quests that take some time to complete while working toward a greater goal even if you are not an end game enthusiast.

  5. I do think leveling in wow at the moment goes far to fast you are barely in a area for an hour been playing through classic and I’m actually role playing not just trying to get to max lvl as fast as possible

  6. I have a noob question, will those servers reset? like i will lose my char playing wotlk? And another is, if they release a cataclysm i would prefer to be in another server cuz to me wotlk was the best, the gear looks are awesome and we still see ppl doing quests on the map cuz theres no dungeon finder.

  7. The health if the era servers where they care about the journey… I have a newsflash for you. It's a cesspool of gold-buyers, botters, GDKP's with said purchased gold, and boosting via gold farmer Mages. Idiots buying gold to pay for boosts… It's not a wonderful happy time.

  8. "During expansions the content really begins at the previous expansions level cap. All that leveling that takes place before is a hurdle that blizzard keeps accelerating."

100% this. The character I created when classic launched got steamrolled into wrath and now I'm downloading classic era to START AGAIN…
when wow came out, I never got one of my characters past 40. When classic was announced I was super excited to get the chance to go back and finish what I started all those years ago. The leveling process is everything to me and every time they chip away at the meaningfulness I lose more interest.

I wish they would just have servers for each expansion, I dont have the time or dedication to keep up with each group of content but I want to see it all, over time.
Let me start in classic and then pay for a realm transfer to BC then WOTLK then CATA… etc. I dont want to miss out on the WOTLK content but theres not enough time for me to get through it before cata… Sad…
