My character’s backstory:
Jessica Elderwalker, a high elf sorcerer. Born of nobility in the city of Baldur’s Gate. The Elderwalkers are known for their draconic bloodline and being a line of powerful sorcerers. For me, if it would’ve been Gale who suggested to sacrifice himself, it would’ve sound a bit more of a noble act (albeit foolish).
Though, having someone ordering him to do so is unjust. In this case, what Mystra’s doing sounds a little manipulative. Of course Gale won’t back down, nor question on a request from someone he worships.
If the plan to take down the Absolute’s heart were to fail, then what? Gale lost his life for nothing & won’t be redeemed cuz the Absolute still roams?
