  1. I dont believe that ppl who like riding/M+/PvP really enjoy endless grind of AP like in some sort of Korean MMO. Thats WoW not Tibia. We can always push higher key or gain more rating, be better as a player even if u cant aquire better gear.

  2. Oh boy I can't wait to log in an do a whole bunch of world quests so my DPS doesn't fall behind by a slight margin. I think people misremember the AP systems, incremental rewards feel good to a point but when that point is never placed you have a scenario where you have people feeling forced into content they don't enjoy to get that extra 0.2%

  3. Unpopular opinion. I am glad that 9.1 takes that long. My guild killed Sire mythic with 7 raidhours a week this ID. Now we can reclear, test trials and make an alt-raid which can also clear Nathria in a few IDs.

Besides that i finally can play Demons Souls and other games for my PS5. I had no time as an officer and with my engeneering fulltime job. Plus there are games like Nier, it takes two etc, that i can play in my freetime the next weeks.

I know that everyone plays games differently, especially WoW, but there are so many great games out there. Just play other games and raidlog till 9.1. You dont need to play the game every week for 40+ hours. It is fine like that.

  4. I'm really pessimistic on the prospect of Blizzard removing any time gates right now, because they need players spinning the hamster wheel for longer now. Say they make Soul Ash infinitely farmable, people would make all their leggos in a week and be done with it, and the thought of that terrifies Blizzard

  5. I have a theory that we will have 4 Patch expansion but next expansion is going to be delayed 1 year. Pretty much the one month delay was just the start of the Covid Effect on development.

  6. If you limit the gameplay, you need to release more content (9.1). Let's say Blizzard makes content value of 100, but each player can "consume" only 40 of it (unless playing multiple characters, but most people don't have 2+ mains). The content we want is out there, we just can't play it cause Ion's philosophy bulshits

  7. Today I cancelled the subscription ive had since over a decade, I wish it would feel bad but it really dosnt, its just a relieve! Im so freakin burnt out trying to find ppl to play with bout for raids but especially m+, just cant get into to good groups regurlarly as a lock without any friends. The crazy belief in need for meta is destroying the game imo.

From now the only wow ill be getting is from watching your streams and videos! You do a crazy good job and i really enjoy your streams!

  8. they're in trouble, players are jumping ship. I don't know what it is about shadowlands but it's the first time my guild haven't even attempted mythic due to our raiders just not wanting to play. I myself main warlock and I'm struggling to find aff interesting anymore, especially in M+ (i'm pugging a lot because my guild is pretty much dead). I would love Blizz to implement a M+ talent tree like the pvp one just for fun.

  9. Have to disagree on your take regarding AP. I would much rather have a system like SL where there is a weekly cap on player power related grinds than having another infinite grind like Legion or BFA had.

  10. While I don't see it happening until the borrowed power runs it's course, I would love to see a getting back to basics and focusing on tuning the classes, fixing the dead talents, etc…

  11. Honestly we need to stop with the Covid excuses. For a professional, tech-driven company like Blizzard that's not an issue. We've had Covid for more than an year now, they released Shadowlands long after they were all working from home. It's been 5 months since expansion release and they haven't had the time to create a new patch? Not even beta testing?

I know I'm sounding bitter but it's the reality. Every dev at Blizzard probably has a nice, good setup at home where they can perfectly work from there. And they've been doing it for almost an year now. It's time to stop with the Covid excuses.

  12. I respectfully disagree with you for once concerning the AP vs. Anima grind. I absolutely hated the artifact and azerite power grind system. Every minute you did not spend grinding AP on your main character effectively let you fall behind the top grinders or the perceived „curve“. Playing an alt? Can‘t really enjoy it because you could/should be grinding AP now. Playing a different game besides WoW because other good games still exist? But you really should be grinding AP now.

I think the Anima change was the best change about shadowlands providing the players with content that is actually optional. You want to play WoW beyond the necessary stuff? You can do that now which will reward you with stuff just not player power.

  13. literally the only thing keeping me playing the game is M progression. I started wow in like July 8.3. Found this guild the second week into shadowlands and managed to make the M team as the only warrior they needed. Were on council now, but really raiding is my pretty exclusive love about MMOs. I dont care for M+, i enjoy some PvP, but all the other side is tertiary. But yeah the guild has become so incredibly stagnant. Ive been starting to jump on an alt just cause im bored with games in general and dont know what to play. But no one is ever on in my guild its kinda funny. The game has got to have lost more people since that 40% sub drop number a little while back. Theres no way people arent dropping off, its so boring right now. Unless you have like close friends who you run keys with or pvp maybe, or raid, then theres nothing to do. I also imagine people who are home or off on covid shit either play constantly or got insanely burnt out.

  14. I personally don't understand the take that having do grind world quests for ap endlessly for incremental upgrades was a good system. It was fucking terrible, because it meant you could never take a break from the game or you would fall behind. Rose tinted glasses
