  1. so they fixed all the shit we already had gone through, how is this great? its great for new boosters, but how does that help the health of the game? so boosters can skip even more shit, while most of us are already finished. These changes are a day late and dollar short. Seriously what does this help? My alts? how many fucking alts does one need? They fix the exploit that child grooming guild RUIN use for epic BGs?

  2. too bad that these changes came this late, blizzard following the same behaviour pattern since legion, deliver a bad game to be fixed 1 year later. whats the point of the alpha, beta and ptr if they do the same thing over and over? why not deliver a good game since the start??? even when the changes are in a good direction the pattern need to change for 10.0

  3. Appreciate you taking the time to put this together. Love watching you stream and your videos, but I'm just going to live vicariously through you this time around. I don't want to keep rewarding this development cycle approach where they released a broken game and burn out 30-50% of the players before they fix it.

  4. I would like to see changes to ranked battleground

    Just a few examples …

You can make a group and it will take 40 mins to form … and after one loss they rage or leave

There should be a reward system for teams of 10 who stay as a group and win 3 games in a row to encourage players to stick together even if they lose 3 they get a reward for doing the content..

Same as a reward like in group finder in arena 2vs2 or 3vs3 finder and recieve a box to get a chance of gear to help them gear up faster.

  5. Yes please old honor gear. One ilevel for all honor gear. I wish conquest gear was one unrated ilvl and the rated ilvl set was two slots per 200 rating again like it used to be (used to get just better ilvl shoulders and chest at 1800 not a full set). I literally hit 1800 and gained 5k health with whatever honor i had when on me, not even upgrading the full set. The difference between gear cutoffs shouldn't be so big of a barrier. (Hell there used to be old crafted resilience gear you could buy slightly worse than the honor set.)

QOL Changes: Show CR and pvpilvl when you apply for lfr pvp groups. Let you inspect someone in your group at any distance. Let people buy other farmable currencies with honor (archivists codex maybe).

PVP gripe: Honestly I wish it was just resilience gear. I wish there was either no loot box for pvp or it was separate. Or that you could actually get max ilvl drops from dungeons and not the increased stuff. Feels bad to do 15s all week and slam arena to a respectable rating and have to pick between potential bis items for one form of content that are practically worthless in the other in a system with no catchup. I have 2 toons with fully slotted conquest gear. You could not do that if you ever took a pvp piece. And you can't even buy a piece a week so it's not like if you miss a box you only have to wait a week to catch up.

SL Changes: I'd like to see all 4 world bosses drop all of the WB memories. Should be able to get any leggo in a given week. I think soul cinders should have a season cap like conquest. I also wish you could get enough ash for a rank 4 leggo in one run.

  6. now why didnt they do this from the start like people asked for? do they create problems on purpose just to solve them later to make them look good or attract people back when theyre in a loss?

  7. I've always asked for pvp gear to just be one ilvl and that's what it is and you compete for other things which are novel and more sought after. For example, let's imagine a world in which PvP were not an island… even though it clearly is an island and is heavily isolated from the focus of design and development at WoW. It's why you can't get free gear from pvp because that ruins pve… even though you can max ilvl farming mythic 15's in week 1 and ruin pvp and that is ok. But I digress.

In one ilvl pvp you would work out something where we could say, you get pvp gear. Not honor or conquest. Just pvp gear. This gear (considering ilvl distribution in 9.1) is ilvl 200 outside pvp. This puts it on par with crafted gear so it's not like you are getting some game changing thing. But in PvP it scales to 259. Everyone has access to it for free (let's say for now) so pvp is competitive. Now people like me still won't beat the top players like Venruki. But I will be much more competitive against the average player as will the rest of the community as gear advantage is removed and all that remains is minor class imbalances, which outside of extreme cases can be dealt with fairly well by strategy (although not always).

To replace the current pvp grind, players who are interested in ranking up and grinding would be offered novelty rewards for earning that rank. So we can keep the rank 1 mounts and so on. Silly things that might feel out of place but are oddly desirable. Like a banner (think of that thumbs down banner people drop on you) that you can carry around on your character that says #1 on it. Or big brightly colored foam weapons. You might get cool augments and transmogs to set you apart. You could do for example a cool gold glow on your shoulders a bit like the old pvp shoulders which had the red glow on them. I would even settle for solid gold armor that was extremely bright and hurt the enemy players eyes so they had to wear sunglasses in real life to deal with me beauty and my glory.

But at the end of the day I would just like to be able to get everything to 60 and play it and try every class and combo in the game and have fun. Which is currently not possible when your awesome 200 ilvl priest is running around getting hit by some nerds 80k rapid fire.

I also don't think that change to heirloom gear will be any good. Heirloom gear doesn't increase your leveling speed. What should be done is a bonus to experience gained for each char you get to 60. So if you get 1 then your next alt gets let's say 30% bonus exp for everything they do. Then your third gets 60% and so on.

But it is nice to see them making small changes to at least try new things

  8. I feel really bad for all of these WoW content creators who have their livelihood tied to a game that continues to shit the bed.

If you ever need a break Ven, I want to see you playing elementalist in guild wars 2. I think you'd love that game.

  9. Ideally, the ilvl difference between honor gear scaled up and a fully geared arena main should be: If both players are equal skill, the arena main wins hands down. If the honor character is more skilled, they should be able to win.

Yeah in BGs it's all haha zerker buff big numbers. But it's just seriously unfun to roll an alt and literally be 2 shot in low cr arena, even in full honor gear.

Make pvp gear bis for pvp again.

  10. It doesn't matter to me if they make torghast easier because the legendaries cost 500k gold and i only have 10k. And there is no way for someone to make money pvping

  11. It's the circle of Wow! And it's not subtle at all anymore. I always quit before the "fix" patch, I did in BFA and I did in Shadowlands. I don't fancy paying a sub to play a game I don't enjoy just to wait for them to fix it, and then they expect us to be grateful for them doing their jobs right that everyone already gave them the feedback on how not to fuck it up since beta.

  12. Something small they could do to make it better getting into pvp, and gearing alts would be a conquest catch up. They could do something like tie conquest you receive based on your pvp ilvl, or just in general boosted conquest until you catch up to that current week of able to earn conquest.

  13. It's far too late, Like an ex who broke up with you then tries to get back with you a year later. The damage is done, The Wound has scarred and healed itself already.

All my friends who I got to start playing this game in the Beginning of the Expansion have already moved on to new Games. These Minor changes do help, But their is STILL an Extremely Long Grindy Mess to catch up to. (Renown,Randomized Conduit leveling that you can't choose and usually picks specs you literally never play instead of your "LOOT SPECIALIZATION" Chosen Spec, Torghast Gridning, Daily quest Grinding, The Insane amount of gold needed to buy your max IL Legendary(You'd make gold faster working a full shift at Mcdonalds and then using that money to buy wow tokens then try to make the amount of gold needed to buy/craft the Legendary"

All These changes needed to happen an entire Year Ago when people were already saying and asking for it on the PTR. Imagine waiting an entire year just for your voice to be heard. But i guess it's better we have it now rather than the usual Blizz Fixing the issues at the end of the Expansion like Usual
