So we are left waiting for Chains of Domination and all the new gameplay it brings; new zone Korthia, new raid Sanctum of Domination and the Sylvanas boss fight, new Mythic Mega-dungeon Tazavesh, new cinematics and Legendaries and story and more. In the mean time, though, there are reports that for the first time Final Fantasy 14 has eclipsed WoW in terms of player numbers. How true are these reports? Why has it happened? i get my wow news pretty much exclusively from this channel and I actually got completely fooled by the intro I was so excited
They made it man. They finally made me cancel my sub. After years of not having new content, it is time to move on. I will still watch these funny videos thou, just not gonna keep paying for a game i already beat.

I just cant quite get it, what are they doing so long?
Aside from the metrics used being incredibly speculative, I wonder if they're doing that lame thing where they're counting every "character" created in FF14, which they did before when they previously attempted to announce that it was getting close to wow numbers, which wasn't true then, nor is it now, in part because one wow account can have as many characters as they'd like. Also keep in mind this only "counted" shadowlands, not classic, so trust me, FF14 isn't even close to wow subs or income. I have my issues with wow and haven't been playing lately, but there's much less competition than what's being hyped.

I feel like WoW's actual numbers have been lower than their data has shown for a while, due to subscription numbers being padded by multiboxers. Whether FF14 actually beats out WoW because of that, who knows?
Mega Dungeon is not gonna be worth running past 1 time. To me its dead content but thats fine, i can do other things.
As someone who played WOW since Classic and FF14 since ARR I never got why ppl just don't enjoy several games. The bit I don't get is how you cannot like praetorium… it's free exp/tomes for watching cutscenes for abt an hour – ideal to cook a meal, play wow on the other monitor or anything else. Still – I'm hyped for 9.1 and Endwalker alike.
Im actually playing the new patch its called ff14 and its there greatest patch ever.
You know you're in trouble when Taliesin is using the "Please Daddy Blizzard humiliate me by ruining my latest video" and it fails.
