All they have to do is change pvp gear system back to not requiring rating for gear and boom pvp and world pvp will get a boost, then they can just make honor for guards marks for mini bosses in towns and con gear or points for bosses in cities
How often is the content update expectation? I feel like SL just came out but people act like it's been years lol. Maybe my aspect of time is off. I don't know what's expected
If you want to spend time checking boxes off a list for hours , a feeling that you need to keep grinding not to fall behind, then yeah. You want to PVP? First, grind for weeks until you can actually do something in bgs due to your gear or do arena and farm there, its not a free Sandbox MMO. You need to grind a lot of things that are not fun to grind, to be able to chill out and actually play what you want.

I quit playing because of dk being absolute garbage when it comes to pvp in Shadowlands. A competitive player like me won't play this game when you give unfair advantages to other classes, there might be little advantages or disadvantages, but seeing 0 dk in top 100 lists made me give this decision. Wow is a magnificent game, from my point of view the best game ever created. Dear wow officials, please have better community management, community management is everything =)
ngl i ended up cancelling my sub and quit playing the game because of how toxic trying to get into groups for mythic plus is. People literally insta declining you because they think your rio is too low but then because you always get insta declined you cant raise your rio, so its completely fucked. I know the work around is to find a regular group to play with but sometimes thats easier said then done. Its a shame because i really enjoy mythic dungeons in wow but paying a monthly sub to spend literally %75+ of my time trying to join a group is just not worth it to me anymore. I'd rather play a game i can turn on and actually PLAY and have fun with it from the second i start until the second i turn it off.

In all honesty Wow is super outdated, all they're doing is feeding us with expansions after expansions. I think there needs to be a wow 2 at this point or just play Guild wars2 and elderscrolls online. Hell, even Runescape is doing something with their game with RS3
Imo it really isn't. I haven't played for a loooong time but i still have friends who do, and when i ask them to come up with a good reason to play this game they can't even do that. The game is outdated and there is no reason to keep playing it, the game looks like shit in the mmo world now which breaks the immersion for me alot especially when animations look terrible
I quit playing back in 2014, I remember the game being extremely fun and I could literally be on all day and night but when I got on recently, the game felt dead. There weren’t many people on and nobody was really talking. Also it took forever to get into a dungeon, before it only took like 2-3 minutes. I also used to know so many people irl that played it but now I don’t know a single person and I never hear about it on social media.

I think blizzards needs to go the way of old wow classic where for the most part you level one character to a soft cap and then have the option of boosting a character so you can have a backup character and maby offer more ways to earn typically pay for ammenitys like exp boosts and such in addition to offering them at a premium and all of that shouldn't be available (the cash shop) till a soft cap because ast that point it do you want extras earn it if that makes sense

I'm a PvE semi-casual (e.g. one week I want to challenge myself and the next week I just want to sit in an area only gathering/"skilling" or mindlessly mashing one attack), so it sounds like this is going to be a pass for me with such a big bias towards consistently doing combat chores for stats.
It sounds like it will also be difficult to find a group that just wants to fool around most of the time but can play properly every so often if the whole game is just pushing everyone to be as efficient as possible at endgame.

Why does it still look mediocre on high-end PC's though? Yes I know it has to run on a potato PC, but really not hard to add a benchmark program and have high resolution textures if you're running more than a 32mb video card.
I've been struggling to decide whether or not wow is worth my time. I go into phases of being enthralled by the game for maybe 2-3 weeks of my sub and then taking like 3 weeks off and I always feel like I'm falling behind. That combined with needing to be able to work around a guild schedule to actually do higher tier content makes it difficult to decide cause I sometimes feel like I could be spending a couple hours playing a fun single player game instead of do dailies, torghast, or grind. Maybe I'll finish persona 5 and play some shadowlands casually until 9.1 drops in 2-3 months

To me , WOW cinematics are amazing. But the game isn't for me. I don't like the graphics and many of the gear esthetics and character models. Gameplay is important but I to me what I am looking at has to appeal to me for me to play it … especially MMOs that will have me play it for long time
