  1. "… the core characters that will be joining us" (showing Jaina) – and I'm like "yeah… nope…" Sorry, that woman still triggers me… Which is strange since no other character in WoW has ever managed that…

  2. I still laugh at the blizzard developers who think that you can shoot a catapult several miles to burn tedrasil, I mean we’re talking probably at least 5 to 10 miles into the ocean it was literally a great strategical advantage to have their capital city there but you can tell blizzard has no one that works for them to understand warfare that much or common sense you know because somehow catapults reached that far and somehow storm when that’s made out of stone burned I mean honestly the lore is OK but honestly in other instances it’s so dumb it makes you wanna laugh. You know like storm wind couldn’t be taken by the horde even though the whore literally flew directly into a capital city unabated which is a joke in and of itself

  3. Just pointing out unless Blizzard throws out lore again to serve purpose Anduin can't meet Varian. Fel energy destroyed Varian, which means Varian is dead dead, his soul didn't even get to go to the shadowlands. (But lets face it that will be inconvenient for blizzard so they will still have Varian show up anyway)

  4. Wow I didn’t even notice that the people the Jailer snatched were Garrosh’s trial council. It might sound cheesy but I wouldn’t mind if we rescued Garrosh after the Castle Nathria raid, perhaps hes been purged of most of his anger and sins and he will join us as a morally grey protagonist just like Illidan did in Legion. Also could Garrosh leave the SL(be revived) and then encounter his father again when Yrel and her cult of light shows up?

  5. One point that I believe is a correction to something you said in the vid. In her discussion with Saurfang, Sylvanas only suggested that in a 'potential' future war the Horde might be defeated. The only fact that made that future war a certainty was that fact that she and the Horde started one. I believe it was a mark of weakness (as well as an indicator of the true nature of the Orcs) that Saurfang was so easily talked into accepting this vision of the future and thus his agreeing to participate in the coming war.

  6. If Sylvanas is plotting against the Jailer then trying to kidnap Anduin, Tyrande, Baine, Thrall, and Jaina would make sense. If she's not plotting against the jailer then this strategy makes no sense. Why? Simple. We're going to try everything to get them back. She knows this. She would also know that Bolvar is the one person that actually knows what's going on. Without him the battle is lost before it begins and yet he is the one major faction leader that isn't kidnapped despite the many opportunity's to do so. Calling it now. 9.1 is the Maw covenant.

  7. Redeming and bringing back Garrosh? I hate it just enough to believe that it will happen and he'll join forces with Nathanos and Sylvanas when she reveals her 70D chess betrayal of the jailer to form a new faction called The Sue's.

  8. Have we received any confirmation of a "non-Employment" based realm in Shadowlands? All four zones we visit in the Shadowlands you basically get a job to do for eternity. Then there's the Maw if you are completely irredeemable. So is there no "heaven" for lack of a better term? Like, prior to partway through Legion when everything went FUBAR where did the regular people go who were just good people?

  9. Why is Sylvanas collaboration with the Jailor to put every soul into the maw? That was not answered in the video. When she tore apart the helmet of the lich king and opened the shadowlands, she shouted that she wants to set everyone free (seems to be the opposite of throwing everyone into the maw). I don't really understand what her intentions are…

  10. One thing that is fairly important was not mentioned in the video. On the horde side during the quest line of the pre-patch it is explicitly mentioned that the dark Kyrians tried to take Tyrande too. But failed.

  11. It's crazy to think about the amount of setup Blizzard have done for Shadowlands.

If the payoff is good enough as I imagine, this could very well be a complete game changer lore-wise.

  12. I'm not deeply knowledgeable about the lore at all, but what if Sylvannas has lost patience with the power of death controlling her fate, and that of her people, seeing people she liked and respected die, so she decided to gain the Jailer's favor by feeding him a huge amount of souls knowing she could return them later after defeating him. She then abducts enough big names and opens the door to the Jailer's realm to bring in the Horde and Alliance's greatest heroes, who she has personally witnessed defeat countless existential threats. Probably doesn't fit with the lore, but I enjoyed thinking about it.

  13. Downvoted for comparing Varian to Garrosh. Varian grew, evolved, and became the greatest leader that either faction ever saw. The Alliance was united in a way they had never been before and that was all due to his actions and leadership. Garrosh was a wrecking ball who wanted to win by any means necessary… not remotely the same.
