I really think the arbiter is the real bitchy one here idk why x)
Just want to say I'm a huge fan of your videos Sir.
The fucked up part is Arthas never got judged by the Arbitrator in Orbos. Uther and Davos chick just snatched him up and dropped him in the Maw.
Uther tries to stop Arthas, but Arthas play the " I am your Prince if you try something is Treason" Card, also Arthas was not alone, he have a bunch of soldiers with him
“Vengeance cannot be a part of what we must do. If we allow our passions to turn to bloodlust, then we will become as vile as the orcs.”
I think Uther wouldn't have thrown Arthas in to the Maw if his soul was in one piece. Seems like he only switches between sadness and anger.
I've seen so many people saying they started these in BFA. These have been a thing since way back in Mists. They had an animated series on Shaohao, the Burderns of Shaohao, then they had Iron Legion ones for WoD, Lords of War, then Legion had Harbingers, and THEN BFA had Warbringers. These have been going on a lot longer than you think. You should watch all of them. They're really good.
Uther's soul was split between Bastion and Arthas' blade at 5:14 …. I want to see how it affects the story
Two sides of Uther's soul: His human side that forgave ARTHAS as an individual and then you have his PALADIN side that could not forgive Arthas the PRINCE and LICH KING for what he did. I wonder if we're gonna find the human part of Uther's soul and make him WHOLE in shadowlands?
One thing I have been wondering about, since when does a Prince outrank a General on a battlefield…especially in a matter of citywide mass murder
does anyone else just give an instant like before watching the video knowing KB reactions are pog
Arthas did nothing wrong tho, he did what a king must do to save everyone, and Uther leade him to this path 🙁
actually "can you blame him"… yea I can
He left Arthas alone at stratholme, moment he needed him too much so I can blame uther for what he is doing but he has an actual reason now because his soul is broken and noble part was within blade before he ascended so Uther we see is not a whole soul but other half of proud and just one. This one thinks its whole but his vengence is making him only confused so this soul has a reason to be like this
His other half, one in frostmourne would NEVER done this… he didnt convince us to kill Arthas because he was vengeful because he was convinced he was lost beyond return… he didnt belive we could save him and him being alive is too dangerious and when he was mentioning him he tells us that Arthas will be the boy that was his student in his memories, not Lich King
This shows that actual, prouder self of Uther did no hate Arthas. He was instead so sad and blamed himself for what happened but he knew he had to die so he helped us to do it.
Uther's this half on the other hand is in pain, shattered and confused with vengence.
There was no justice.
I wonder when will Blizzard stop shitting on Arthas… How many times is it stated in the books and in the games that he lost his soul the moment he grabbed frostmourne. The dude literaly had no soul his soul was stuck in his own blade. And still while he was trapped he tried to battle his evil side and keep the scourge at bay. It was bad enough they send him to hell once they killed him(the good side that was trapped) , but now we have to watch Uther grab an innocent guy (yes that is the real Arthas, because his soul was finaly released from frostmourne) throw him into hell and say it is justice… Disgusting
The only thing that made me pre order. seeing Bluther Flightbringer toss arthas into the clogged space toilet.
I've loved BFA, it's not perfect sure, I can see the flaws, but they don't bug me personally. I liked Titan Forging, but it was a minor thing for me, and if so many people hated it then I'm glad it's gone. It's replacement in Corruption is not an ideal solution, but for a last patch feature it's great to see lasers from the sky wreaking vengeance. The only gripe that gets under my skin is how meaningless the choice between Sylvanas and Saurfang was, oh, I get a different cutscene, and that's it? I'm with Sylvanas, ride or die, kill'em all and don't even let the Arbiter sort them out. And I feel bad for Alliance players because they didn't even get an option meaningless as it might be.
I'm very intrigued by what's coming in Shadowlands and I can't wait.
Dark Lady watch over you all!
The return of Arthas is the only reason why I could think of buying this expansion.
What we need to remember when Arthas killed Uther, Arthas was no longer behind the wheel. His was the first soul to be devoured by Frostmourne.
For over 20 years
That voice has been surving uther xD
I love you! You need to go into voice acting!
uther: no vengeance
also uther: throws one soul to the maw, judged by him to suffer eternity but it's not vengeance, c'mon uther, you are a fucking hypocrite
what arthas did in stratholme was neither good nor pleasant, but honestly he did what could be done, it’s easy to call him a monster for killing innocent infected people but I would rather die by the hand of my prince than become a zombie , uther and jaina just judged arthas and did nothing, didn’t come up with an idea, in the end the 2 who both judged arthas did hateful things too because they judged FAIR at that moment (jaina in dalaran’s purge and now uther in this cinematic)
Idk if its my empathy being stronger than normal or something but I teared up just seeing the pain in uthers eyes when he was talking about his student betraying him. Uther seems like someone who could normally handle life's hardships like a champ, which makes his shattering all the more impactful
