Hey everyone!
Welcome back to Basic Level Gaming! Today’s session is our normal Wednesday session, since I was celebrating my anniversary with my wife! We are headed back into the Shadowlands, with the primary goal of selecting a Covenant to swear an oath to. After the research I did this week it was clear that the best choice was the Night Fae of Ardenweald. I am okay with this since I did like the main skill when we played through the main campaign there. After we choose this, we are headed back to Ardenweald which makes sense. After a few short quest lines, mostly involving a silly play, we have an audience with the Winter Queen. We swear an oath, and then head off to earn some renown. This is one of the first experiences we have with the World Quest system. Basically, when we enter the area for the quest it automatically triggers. We got a small amount of anima to donate to the sanctuary, so we do that just before we end for the day.
When we come back on Monday, we will continue getting with some of the world quests. Once we have enough to move the main storyline ahead, we will have to decide to stay and build or move on.
