Loch Modan is a large area east of Dun Morogh, situated in eastern Khaz Modan. It is known for its temperate climate, abandoned archaeological dig site and the huge lake from which the region takes its name. The gray and rugged Khaz Modan mountains rise up on all sides around the loch, and the hills are lightly wooded with pine and birch. The loch was held in place by the Stonewrought Dam, an architectural wonder of no equal on Azeroth.
Loch Modan is heavily populated by hostile troggs, unearthed from caves below ground by the dwarven digs. They have since settled in the surrounding mountainous area and built crude camps and caves from which to strike at passing travelers. Other dangers include dangerous wildlife, aggressive kobolds, and the powerful ogres of the Mo’grosh Stronghold.

Yeeess!! Thank you so much for all of these! I always turn one on while I read! You’re awesome and I appreciate you so much!
Classic fresh, when??? Loving it bro, keep it up!
So happy you made this one! Thank you Meisio. I’ve been playing horde in tbc classic but I miss alliance and their music so much.
If only I had the time to play WoW again. I miss especially the dark autumn nights in front of WoW.
Love it!!! Such an awesome and underrated zone
Hey Meisio, can you make a playlist with all WoW vanilla/classic ambience?
This will be perfect for this monday, and for the last week of this summer too. As an avid ally player, I had a couple of dwarves and gnomes back in my time, so this hits me home. Thank you for your work! I hope that You will be fine. Just don't forget a really important thing: we all love You!
Glad to see you are still uploading stuff from the good old days. Thank you from my teenage years.
I've been playing FFXIV, and its good and all, but man, it does not have the sense of place, the strong identity, especially though music and sound, that WoW does. WoW nailed music and sound for 99% of their zones so well they feel like real places to me, and no other MMO has touched that.
So much love….
This is really well done, thank you. Needed this.
I love you
One of my favorite areas. 🙂 Keep it up!
WOW- its the Valley of the Kings portion for me… magical <3
Vul flux neyak flux… (oblivion spell) it a word says 1,2
Wow- its stonewrought dam where i do my spells… catch me there…
Thanks for all spell and comment guy. 👀 ill be watching 👀
Thank you so much for this, my favourite place
OMG the amazing quality of the video and audio…compared to other channels, you reminded me of the first time I saw HD TV in comparison to SD TVs back in the day. You always outdo yourself Meisio.. thank you for making my day better.
Amazing job with the imagery on this one
Loch Modan is the very first location where I stayed for a long time. Remember your first characters. I personally had a dwarf. When I went to Loch Modan, I felt that this was my place. The sound of a flute, a sun-saturated forest, a small lake. This is the place where I could stay for years. This is where I wanted to live. Here I could find peace. I was happy.
If we talk a little more about my first steps in WoW, then I can say that I imagined a more exciting game. Don't think that I don't like the plot of the game. When I played the first 20 levels, I sometimes looked into the distance and saw something huge and frightening. It was near the Mo'grosh stronghold. I thought that all high-level players pass this building as a dungeon or raid, but it's just a building. I hope everyone thought that in capitals or ordinary cities like Ironforge, it was possible to get a difficult one, available only for high-level players? For example, I thought that it was possible to help the city, solve important problems. I hated the task of killing Troggs in Dun Morog. I think it was necessary to find gears there. When I killed them and loot them, they quickly rejoiced. The Trogg offensive made me think about how to end them. I wanted to free Karanos from the war with these creatures. Only after a couple of months of pumping, I realized that this was impossible. There were no tasks to help the city. No one goes to these places for a long time.
Thanks to the author of the channel for such a job done. I remembered the first character and even shed tears

Nothing hits me in the feels harder than the classic score. God, I loved that time of my life inside this game.
I was a human in Vanilla and I remember Loch Modan being such a mystery zone for me as I would run through the tunnels. Just a big empty area, it seemed. I thought the big dwarf statues were really intimidating.
Man, back then, when you literally spend an eternity in the starting Zone, it was a huge step into the world, when you finally, after doing all the questing, running, buying and collecting stuff for your professions, took those quests for the next zone, dying 2-3 times on the long run to Westfall or Loch Modan. And when you arrived, without any map, guide or whatever and had to fight your way to the Gryphon. Was a cool time back in 2005 when the game was released and you literally just played it, not knowing that professions were mostly useless, grinding low level mobs did not yield as much money as you thought and you prob. were in the wrong area, with a level to high, or not enough quests. But it was cool.
Best ever! I love this place. Warm, friendly, and time-enjoying!
Damn, I love Warhammer so much!
you're doing more to push me back towards wow than blizzard ever could lol
loch modan , my home!
I just love classic – every August on its release anniversary I roll a new Character and level my way once again through the magic environments of Elwynn Forest, Loch Modan, Darkshore, Ashenvale, Stonetalon ,Duskwood and Stranglethorn. For the rest of the year I have these videos. Thankyou Meisio – keep on doing what you are doing.
Thank you 🙂 Really good for nostalgic dwarves like me
