If this was a dart board, you would have hit the barman in the eye LOL hahahahahaha
"I am so fucking sad." I feel it
Has there been any hard evidence? Honestly asking because we're in a world where people feel the need to start making up things to get involved/push their agenda
WoW Has Been Going Downhill For A Long Time Now….
And Its Sad Because Maybe If People In Charge Had Of Been More Attentive To The Workers And Fans Theyd Have Found A Better More Profitable Path That Didnt Involve Harming Employees And Betraying Fans Trust.
I Shall Always Support WoW For The Artists Involved, The Game Design Teams, And The Writers Who Wrote The Good Parts Of The Games Storyline, And Obviously Because Imma Die Hard Illidari And Ill Support It For Illidan.
But My Support Will Be More Into The Books Showing The Artists Art And World Images And Storyline And Such Like That.
To Be Frank Burning Legion Is The Last WoW Game I Bought And I Mean Honestly Unless They Come Out With Another Game Based Mostly On Him I Wont Be Buying Anymore WoW Games/Expansions.
This Stuff Is Just Tragic.
Its Tragic Because WoW Is A Game That Brought People Around The World Together.
Sadly It Seems The Love Of More Money Rather Than Supporting The Love Of Fans And Employees Is Tearing Down A Game I Have Basically Grown Up With.
Mind You I Mostly Just Did Role Play In WoW When I Played It.
But Even That Was A Fun Part Of The WoW Community To Me And Its One Reason Why Ive Been Playing Around On Albion Online.
Its Like A Baby Version Of WoW.
It Has A Weird Nostalgia Feel….I Cant Be Alone In That. X'D
I Personally Wish That I Had A Way To Join The WoW Team Without Having To Have Bajillion Years Of Experience….Trust Me I Looked….Because The Ideas I Have For New Fun Gameplay And Storylines Everyone I Know Says That Theyd LOVE The Chance To Play A Game Designed By Whats In My Overly Imaginative Mind.
It Honestly Is A Waste Of A Muse And Talent On My Part….
Ah Well….
Maybe In Another Lifetime.
WoW Has Fallen So Far In Storyline….
Game Playability….
And Above All….FUN.
And The Cost….Is Just Ridiculous….
Honestly….They Could Have My Ideas For Free….
I Wouldnt Even Care….
If It Just Meant The Game I Have Loved For So Long Could Continue On….
They Can Have It All.
Its Heart Breaking Watching WoW Die….
For Me….WoW Is Part Of My Teenhood And College Days.
It Is Ingrained With So Many Of My Happiest And Most Fun Memories….
But Little By Little….
Ive Watched One Friend After Another Kill Off Their Character And Leave….
And Its Sad….
Cause Where Once WoW Had The Potential To Be A Force That Helped Unite The World….
Now Its Driving People Apart….
And Theres Enough Of That In The World Today….
I think we should consider them innocent until proven guilty. I have seen this sexual harassment destroy people who were otherwise untouchable. The problem in the two incidents I observed was that the women went right on along with flirting and never objected. Then they all got together in a mob and ruined these two guys. Me, I stay away and I am professional.
It's like all of gaming industry just decided to pick July to blow up their games and businesses.
I haven't seen this much drama around various games since gamergate and lootboxs.
It's just sad that it takes a monumental fuck up from the devs for people to wake up and realize the decade long shitshow.
So like I did some outsourcing work for a certain videogame company (you know who it is) and even yesterday after not being with the company for over two months I've been getting death threats just because I'm a trans guy with bright long pink/purple hair.
So like… this shit is real and it does happen.
People in the past: The only thing that can kill WoW is WoW
Blizzard: And I took that as a challenge.
Either Ion is wholly incompetent at leading WoW…
…or the leadership above Ion have tied his hands.
I think the tweet he was reading around 6:00 was more of "If you complain about the employees walking out to have a better workplace and for the people who did everything to those victims be held accountable just because you want your content on time, you are part of the problem" Which i agree with. We should be standing with the employees not ignoring them.
finally preach unleashed…i knew from bfa he was suppressing his true feelings towards the game and i must admit it pissed me off and stopped caring about his content…lol. WB brotha.
This is why I have so much respect for Mike. Tells it how it is, how he feels and his words have conviction.
All this shit really hasn't surprised me since Activision took over, even more so the stuff about Kotick who is a grade a dhead in a suit not a gamer. I've never liked that company and him in particular
Who's here enjoying Preach's new content. I know I am loving it. 👍
You can actually see Preach go through all stages of loss
Jeez, this was hard to watch. I found Preach somewhere in the middle of when he started playing FF14 (algorithm throws everything ff14 at me eventually, it's been my home MMO since HW lol).
Like, I've seen a couple viewers on the ff vids comment something like "wow, you look good, you look so much happier." And I've only seen the cheery and kind of cheeky side of him in the newer vids, so seeing this, I can see why people were worried.
Edit: just as an aside, he's one of my fav content creators at this point. He has a level of genuine that is nice to see.
7:45 tahts what FFXIV did :O they didnt charge when theycouldnt provide a service
I stopped wow a long time ago, before all of this happened, just because it wasnt the game me. Its a great game for sure, but not for me. Its so sad what is happening because numbers dont lie and wow have been massively succesful and still is, i wonder if that rise to success have created a mindset of them believing they will get away with everything? Its sad 🙁
note to self: whenever you get excited or hyped about a new expansion: watch this video again to clear your head.
lol, YouTube edited my comment and changed the date to 1 year ago! HAHAHAHA!
Hey if anybody is wondering if taking a step back is a good idea , yes! it is great to focus on your real life and people around you and get things done in real life for a bit kind of a vacation! u can always come back to WoW and get a boost if u want or even play to level 20 for free which is kind of lame but u can always just resubscribe and play the game, my advice would be try not to get involved in the trade chat its really toxic, a better community can fix wow but the community is very hateful. * Edited * (buying a boost is not a good idea since you're getting scammed out of your money however almost either way WoW is pretty money hungry which is a bit understandable since their graphics and world size is big for 20 dollars a month Canadian. But when u buy boosts you're also ruining it for other players who are really trying their best. Also if you're boosted some people will be able to notice or question you which results in toxicity. The people who really do the one shots ( me not to brag ) but our classes and specs get nerfed cause of reports. We spend our time trying to make our dps stronger then the streamers and gladiator's, just to end up playing with someone that dies in 2 seconds if i dont protect him. Thats because hes boosted im not so when u buy boosts you do make OG players quit. Which you might think is great no competition but it isnt because the exact same thing will happen to you when new players come and you know everything and you are making gold off the auction house new players spending 1000$ on WoW with a brand new gaming pc and you get to play with people who know next to nothing since they bought a boost. This is the bad thing about boosting. People boost you cause they need the gold in the game, you get the boost and barely can afford to repair your armor after buying a mog. Please play the game read the talents and stuff no need for a boost. If you're respectful good players teach you for free. They might just want to test their 1 shot damage on you a few times. Dont get mad and run off buying boosts cause its a chain reaction of ruining a game for everyone.
Watching this nearly 2 years later and Blizzard been through some rough shit since this video came out.
-They got their asses thoroughly audited by the state of California and due to this are now likely a much better place to work
-9.1 was the lowest point WoW has ever been to. This patch was hot garbage. I think even selfie patch from WOD wasn't that bad – the selfie patch at least had a rock-solid framework with good and fun to play classes, no stupid grinding etc. People wanted to play the game in 6.1 but couldn't find enough content. In 9.1 no one wanted to haul their asses through another 4 layers of torghast, grind some stupid rng drop rate torment shards, or korthia lol.
-9.2 was somewhat better but still pretty meh. Sepulcher was essentially 2 raids smashed together with half of this stupid raid being endboss difficulty level. Cos they usually develop big dick bosses first and then filler encounters. They realized that 9.3 is not happening so they thrown those finished bosses in there so their work doesn't go to waste.
-Dragonflight brought fun back into this game and finally started to design features that may be integrated into the core game instead of being expansion-specific and then tossed away. Or even patch-specific like those stupid shards in 9.1. I mean flying was asking for a revamp. Don't tell me swimming through the air is fun. Most of you guys just put 'numlock' on and watch youtube on the other screen. They went out of their way and designed an expansion with 830% flying as a thing, as a core feature of the game. And thank god for that cos this is really fun.
That's on WOW side. What about other games? Oh boy, doesn't look very good, does it
-Hearthstone died, no one cares bout its expansions anymore, it's on maint mode basically
-Overwatch 2 don;t even get me started on that. They did a fucking NFT scam style rugpull.
-D2 Resurrected came out and it's decent as expected. It's a remaster done right, unlike Warcraft III
-D4 is coming, I hope it's good, I really really do.
-Diablo Immortal earns 2 million dollars per day, also nothing unexpected. People on a large scale are stupid and easily manipulated. One person is complex, a whole society is really simple and receptive to egregious manipulation.
-WoW Classic got tokens because GDKP is meta and players were buying lots of RMT gold. So blizz wanted to make a dent in this sweet cake made of $100 bills. Boy this fucking decisionmaking – no to Dungeon Finder but yes to WoW Tokens (which didn't even existed until 7 years after actual WOTLK launch)
Woosh. What an adventure.
