Seems like they nerfered. Atm item is so expensive, wasted 40k gold buying 10 of them, and didn't get any coin, so ggs, doesn't worth it at 10.1.7
that crab for bait is in 1500g on my server, this isn't a cheap option.
This method was my only option as I could not find a group for Lunkers. This took me roughly 8 hours with 50 elusive croaking crab. I also did fishing in that same spot to pass the time, gaining extra coins here and there. I eventually had 5 silver coins which I just converted to gold.
I will mention this is actually easier alone. Whenever someone else would summon the crab, I would never get a coin. Being the summoner can grant “summoners luck”, this will often give you a coin upon killing the rare. For me this felt more like a 8/10 chance for getting a coin, as I kept getting inscription recipes too. Other than that, this video saved me time from farming Lunkers. I have yet to see any Lunker drop a coin, I must be unlucky with those.
