3 seasons is right, one season per raid tier. That awakened shit at the end of DF was trash. A different raid each week isn't content when they are just reused season 1-3 raids.
The only reason season 4 sucked second time round is because there was nothing new added to spice it up. The dreadlords affix was simple but fun as people stack a good amount extra of a 2nd stat of their choosing. If blizz added added something to DF S4 then it wouldn't of sucked so hard.
S4 should only exist with a new raid imo… or maybe like a month buffer as a final hurrah. Like here's everything we experienced during TWW but scaled up. Enjoy it while we wait for the new xpac NEXT month
To be fair, looking at the timeline Season 4 could also still happen ealry 2026. If Blizzard doesn't suprise us with an immediatly alpha/beta right after the reveal and if there really is no S4 there will be a content drought of almost year again.
