I’m a World of Warcraft noob
World of Warcraft (WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment. Set in the Warcraft fantasy universe, World of Warcraft takes place within the world of Azeroth, approximately four years after the events of the previous game in the series, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. The game was announced in 2001, and was released for the 10th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise on November 23, 2004. Since launch, World of Warcraft has had nine major expansion packs: The Burning Crusade (2007), Wrath of the Lich King (2008), Cataclysm (2010), Mists of Pandaria (2012), Warlords of Draenor (2014), Legion (2016), Battle for Azeroth (2018), Shadowlands (2020), and Dragonflight (2022).

welcome aboard the madness train that is WoW 🤣
It's been really great to see how you've grown with the game and raiding with you has been fun. Hope you continue on for the new xpac. 🙂
As someone who started during Wrath of the Lich King, it does bother me that new players are dropped into BFA. For one thing, BFA was not regarded as one of the better expansions (at least at the time), and as you said, the story is all over the place. I think Pandaria might be a better starting zone, but that's just personal preference. However, when I was starting WoW there were the many different Classic areas I could choose from to level in. This was before servers were linked to each other, so getting into a specific dungeon of that specific zone as a DPS took a LONG time, though that may be because I'm on a lower pop server. It's definitely a totally different experience now, since back then levelling took a much longer time. I'm glad to see you will continue playing in the future, and it will be awesome to see you play the next xpac!
Started playing in Legion and one of my favorite WoW memories was staying up until 5 am playing the BFA levelling in a discord call with my guildmates the night it launched. Nothing more fun or hype than an expansion launch
so happy we got a chance to group up over the 6 months , seeing you learn and get stronger makes me happy and still just loving the game how you like to play it. can't wait to see what you do this year <3
love that you're still in the game, learning and discovering. Finding 'your people' in game really can make all of the difference.
2:54 Or you could just buy it – yep that sums up Blizzard in one statement
Yep that's why a big chunk of us don't play "retail", classic still has more "static" zones, even with the layering, the layering is just overflow, if you're in a normal spot there aren't layers. All zones are still relevant for some task, chore, quest or material
Also the money skips, and wow tokens really ruin the fun, fun being people actually having to play to progress and seeing them, helping them, communicating with them, that's what is missing from retail, you really nailed it
have you also tried rated PvP?
you achieved a lot more than most do in their first year, hope you continue playing!
Been following your journey on and off while I've been playing FFXIV, and its been an interesting one seeing how someone who has never played WoW before adapt and progress, as I've been playing WoW since its early days in 2004. Glad to see you are enjoying it and I do hope to run into you sometime!
Also lowkey you should give FFXIV a try if you want something more story focused. What blizzard is trying with the saga story for the next three expansions they got from FFXIV's story structure a bit. You can try FFXIV entirely for free with no time cap up until Level 70, with some restrictions obviously, but I'm not here to give you the whole meme of its free trial. Go enjoy the mmos you want to play!
time is money F R I E N D
Eyey let’s GOOOOO
I played WoW recently up until level 20 because it was free. Then I came to the sudden realization that I had no idea where I was or what to do next. 😂
if you have never done so already, you could try RS3 as well since you’re an old school player.
i personally look at it the same way you do retail and classic wow.
trying both is definitely worth it if you already like one and they are so different from one another that it’s hard to compare them directly anymore.
been playing wow since 2007. i made and loss friends along the way. Crazy that i am the only person left in my guild. Been lonely since end of WOD. 😀 😀 :'D
Time is definitely money friend 🙂
Whoa didn't know you played RuneScape, dang I'd love an opinion vid on how WoW stacks against it 😀
I feel like people still refer to retail by whatever expansion it is. unless they dont know the expansion. It's been called retail for as long as I can remember, and I believe it has something to do with private servers and Retail refers to the price you have to pay to play real wow the non private server version.
retail all the way,way more ppl play retail. But ye i agree its 2 different game styles
If he hates goblins he shouldn't go to tanaris in classic
hey Roox, i think you should try world of warcraft season of discovery! play horde on crusader strike tho.
orrr you can fuckint buy it .. idk.. hit me xD
With easy 400 days playtime. yea there is no way i change the game at any point. ^^ You got me there haha
this is a refreshing take on this game. I've been playing wow the majority of my life, started in dec of 2004 as a child. So many people just bag on retail/classic for whatever silly reason. Its nice to see you enjoy both games for what they are.
also your videos are great. grats on one year
U are actually so funny the amount of times i laughed during this video😅Keep up the good work
