  1. My theory is this Soul is none other than Helya, i think the bargain between Sylvanas and her make this posible and corrupted. This explain why Heyla is in the Maw and not be tormented like the other Souls.

  2. Somehow Argus ended in the Shadowlands and when his soul reached the Arbiter, she felt all the pain, suffering and corruption of the Titan, that would be the reason why she is now asleep or passed out because never in her existence had he felt anything like it.

In the end, Argus was not just any Titan but he was the Titan of death.

  3. I guess pyromancer was right again!
Sargeras fueled his sword with the power of Argus and then stabbed Azeroth.
After that, we as a player drained that Power from the sword with our Artifact weapon what in the end broke our weapon because it was literally the power of a titan and to much to handle. That’s when Argus actually died and his soul turned into the shadowlands and broke the arbiter. And that’s the reason the arbiter reacts when we visit Oribos for the first time.
Atleast that’s my theory right now.

  4. I don't think any of this is connected too Argus, Sargeras, or the nightmare. Just being red isn't going to have me jump to conclusions. If anything im thinking it's connected too Helya and her deal with Sylvanas.

  5. I think that somehow, the death of Argus triggered this, though Argus' soul cannot go to the shadowlands according to blizzard. But if Argus is the titan of Death, his destruction could have somehow broken the machine of death. The other possibility is this is the energy that was present in Sargeras' sword which we unleashed when we "cleansed" the sword.

  6. I just realised something. Why is the Maw the default setting if the Arbiter is broken? I mean shouldn't the souls be stuck in Oribos or better yet what the hell are the Attendants doing? Shouldn't it be the Attendants job to aid the Arbiter in duty of judging souls and since the Arbiter is in a coma wouldn't the Attendants be able to do the Arbiter's work for the time being. There are so many loop holes in this death story arc.
