Shadowlands Patch 9.2.5 Balance Tuning: DESTRO NERFED!
The soon-to-come set of Balancing is touching 2 Tanks and 2 Ranged DPS, but what
will get most people’s attention is the long awaited nerf to Destruction.

However, now that we see it, some questions start rising:
Is it too late?
Why did we have to wait 3 months for it?
Why right as MDI is starting?

00:00 RIP Destro……?
01:48 The Effects of the Destro Nerf
03:54 The COMPENSATION BUFFS to Destruction
05:38 Affliction ****Buff***
06:45 Guardian and Vengeance Damage Buffs
10:10 Destruction: Is the TIMING of Nerfs, good?
12:51 I understand the Complaints….HOWEVER…
15:17 This was all, what’s your take on it?

  1. It is not just the couple ppl that are heart that played destro but the other 4 team members that relied on it. But like i sad back to bfa meta get the dobble hunter out.

  2. To be honest I like these small but frequent balance tunings. It gives them less of a chance to completely fuck things up.

Can't believe surv and wind walker aoe wasn't nerfed tho

  3. The MDI argument is strange as it affects all teams almost equally and makes MDI more interesting as we propably wont be seeing the same comp played in every dunegon.
ww/surv/destro would have won every dungeon that doesnt need curse dispel.

These changes should be atleast monthly so we dont have these stupid arguments as "i have played this spec for 6 months so you cant unbroken this now".

  4. Prob is this nerf to destro while huge 2k in st and 20k in aoe stops keys in the 30’s. Mdi coming up and mdi teams all now have to figure out how to do it. My prediction outlaw was already doing more aoe than destro so your next video in one month will be nerf outlaw.

  5. I play m+ as a tank at 3.2k rating and for each season I make sure I have about 2-3 tanks ready to pump in case some tank specs get nerfed. One would expect mdi players to have a similar (or better) upkeep of different classes, and experiment with alternative team comps, especially given their access to tournament realms… I truly hope that this change will make the least "meta-slave" team win… imo the only valid complaint here are the ladder rankings of 30+ keys, that have now become much harder to attain

  6. this is why i like it when my spec is right on the middle
i was worried as fuck when i saw how good the DK set was
in the end they nerfed us not too much but my god i was worried for a whole month because i knew DK where stupidly OP
blizzard always balance/nerf the top spec one moment or later way faster than they buff the lower spec which make me a bit mad haha
because less player play the lesser spec they don't feel any kind of urge to fix it i guess

  7. Absolutely horrendous decision making on Blizzard's part and fortunately they are getting a lot of negative feedback on this.

You can't just kill the meta a few weeks before season end, cause now the top is cemented, there is literally no reason to keep pushing because you can't do higher than you were already at, without suddenly becoming much better.

I feel so bad for people who were right around the cutoff for Cryptic hero planning to push for it at the end, cause that is no longer gonna happen.

  8. I believe in buffs over nerfs but the numbers got a little too ridiculous. On keys above 25 53% of the ranged specs participating were destruction warlocks.
Also, do you know how many bad destruction warlocks we were forced to play with over time? Only like 1 in 3 Destro warlocks even knew how to do that crazy damage. Felt so bad when you got one of those FOTM warlocks who didn't actually know the spec but obviously got accepted into a ton of keys and got score.

  9. Im not Mdi player but, they destroyed their route, pulls and comps and and, its not the nerf they had to do, they just basically removed 4set and I guess 2set aswell? cause 2set is just activator for 4set, without 4set, 2set is bullshit aswell ! The fun part of is not changing surv hunters:)))!

  10. This is the problem with whinging so much about outliers, the game becomes homogenous. The 4pc interaction with Rain of Chaos was one of the most interesting mechanics in the game to try and manage, not only in a pull, but all the way back at the route making for m+. In Raid it was also very interesting to try and link up RoC windows by sacrificing single target. Now it's gone because of the whinging + blizz incompetence with balancing.

  11. You see Izen, we all knew warlock was stupidely broken, the issue with nerfing it comes with the timing. When you buff a class, is never a problem, because if that class turns out to be stronger than the current ones, you can alway re-roll to it, get it ready within a couple days and start pumping as you were. When you nerf a class, specially, if its the strongest class in the game, and particularly this late into the season, where gear isn't really a wall preventing you from climbing anymore; it means that there is a number of keys that you were able to barely complete, that you will no longer be able to do so, aye? So the issue at matter arises when you realise there is a ranking for this runs, and it will be extremely unfair for players who started climbing the ladder later on than people that were already doing that climb when locks were bringing an absurd amount of dmg. At this point, you have to hold nerfs till next season just not to be unfair to ppl competing.
For the "normies" as you mention, this change means barely nothing, for regular Andy, doing his 15s, maybe pushing to 20s, you don't require the warlock damage, hell, I would argue you don't even require a functional brain or cognitive awareness whatsoever. The damage difference won't come from the class you playing, but from how much you suck at it. So essentially is a change that only affects the very high end players, with a really negative impact on the fairness of the season as whole.

  12. If nerf goes through it basically means the unofficial end of the M+ season. No one will push season will die. Players will take a break from wow and or just quit for good.

  13. Ofc nerfing Warlock now is a mistake. Do You remember how it was with Fire mage? 2 Seasons of dominance in M+ meta and nothing done with it even between seasons. Now they are nefring warlock mid season targeting AoE dmg but also cuting single target performance which wasn't issue at all! It's a joke!

  14. yes the timing of this nerf is like WAYYYYYYYYYYY to late, but not nerfing it cause of MDI etc, which affects like 100-200 people is laughable lol! xD

The nerf for destro it self is kinda wrong … makes the 4 set kinda pointless now .. lol
Nerf the dmg Infernal does lol? simple! Plus the nerf to the Rain of Chaos is stupidly biig lol! xD
Look at Kalamazi sims .. it's reduced by 33% uptime!.. Destro is DEAD in keys lol! xD

  15. Gutted the set bonus, now destro is clunky to play and performance going way down, now it's only going to be mostly survival hunters getting picked until they are nerfed, pissing off even more people 🤣 see how this will be a problem? Don't gut the fucking set bonuses….buff the shitty classes lazy dumbfuck blizzard

The funny thing is everything touch in this game, gets nerfed a week later. everytime i swap, here comes the nerf, it's been going on for over 10 years. watch now, when i go outlaw rogue…. i just dinged 60 yesterday, i picked outlaw cuz it was the worst spec in the game. just wait and see now, it's gonna get a nerf

  17. ST destro is overall a 1k dps less damage. its worse than aff damage now. this doesnt' just effect the top guys. literally every destro warlock player is getting smashed into the ground and those who play lock know it. all keys under 20 are going to get wrecked by this. if ur a lock ur not going to play destro. its a 25%+ nerf in overall damage in m+ its over a 1k dps loss in ST. its too much of a nerf.
