  1. I've been a fan of Day9 for sooo long. He's one of the most likeable content creators I've ever followed. His ability to tell a story and infectious laugh just make him such a joy to listen to! SO cool to see him on the PoddyC!!!

  2. I wanted to speak on just walking into dungeons as a noob:

I started in late TBC and had only heard that dungeons were cool through guild chat. I made it all the way to desolace before I found one and I walked into mauradon solo as a leveling fire mage. I was unsuccessful but had a blast. I then only played dungeons all the way through till BRD stopped giving me levels. What a time to be alive.

  3. Day9 has never watched Summit lmao. I love Summit, I watch him ALL the time. But he really is just a dude that turns on the stream, smokes weed, and plays whatever game he wants to. He does put some effort into entertaining when he's RPing or trying to hide his identity in DayZ. But most of the time he's just chillin, barely reading chat, and just responding sympathetically to donos about the donator's life falling apart.

  4. Looove Sean, he was one of the first streamers i started watching, and saw all his educational Day9 Dailies back in the day, back when Starcraft2 went into beta, and saw his release stream in the auditorium, absolute legend.
Remember waking up in the middel of the night to watch his livestreams in my early teen years to learn about starcraft 😀

  5. This episode really showed that, Day9 is an adult with measured views. Max, through his position in Liquid, is slowly becoming an adult. Dratnos, is aware of some of the deep lying issues with WoW gameplay and its community. Dorki, is just a fucking idiot.

  6. W day9, very correct abt leveling being just better in classic. They really need to invest in the new player experience. Fast leveling can still be a thing with remix events for hardcore gamers, but I do think they need to slow down leveling significantly, and some kinda msq for new ppl. Perhaps go thru mage tower esque scenarios to learn stuff, maybe follower versions of old dungs and raids throughout the leveling. More incentives, cosmetics, class quests as well.

  7. Games need to make people escape from the real world. If the game makes you anxious at first, that's not good because a lot of people play games to escape anxiety. I think a cleverly designed game can measure a players stress tolerance based on choices and adjust the experience according to that. The players who avoid PvP generally have much less stress tolerance for example.
