Plunderstorm – Music of World of Warcraft 10.2.6

This is the music that plays during Plunderstorm, the new pirate-themed battle royale feature in patch 10.2.6.

Always gotta love a new pirate theme being added to the game. It’ll definitely fit right in with the music from Freehold. I also love the bit of solo violin added in here as well.

Unfortunately, I don’t really know for sure who the composer is for these tracks, as it only says “Blizzard Entertainment” in the contributing artist metadata tag in the game files. But after listening to these songs for a bit, I’m pretty sure it’s Jake Lefkowitz. It sounds like his style, mainly with the percussion. Like some of the metal clangs sound similar to the ones he uses in some Dragonflight themes, mainly the battle themes from Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope.

Also, here’s a download link for this collection of WoW music I’ve been working on:

I just updated the “Dragonflight” zip to include the new Plunderstorm music here.
