I love the lore information that accompanies the locales
you just described like all of my favorite places to just go and chill in. personal number one would be the ruins of gilneas, but that's mostly cuz I love the worgen starting quests, seeing the cataclysm change the map and really feeling the loss and destruction of my character's home. I don't think any other ruins have. such a personal tie in the current world. I also would have put the ruins of stromgard on the list. I always found that area charming.
Crendor really like the lore dumps!!
My favourite wow series such a cozy experience
I've thought of a great idea for an expansion. It's insane and will never happen but still. Remake the entire world before everything went to heck. The whole expansion is a time travel tale where you go back to these ruins in their heyday. There would be so many cool stories you could do. I know you do some of this in the caverns of time but not a lot. Great top ten Crendor.
Pointless Drinking Contest: Take a drink everytime Crendor says "architexture" 😛
Did not realize Crystalsong was the result of greedy elves!
I love how every set of night elf ruins “was once one of the biggest/grandest/most important in some way” night elf city. This could be looked as as a continuity error, but I like to think of it as part of the old night elf elitism. Every thing we make is grand and perfect and wonderful and you should all feel lucky if we so much as look at you. Good old pre-sundering night elves
Man, I love me some good architexture xD
Credor saying "architexture" is my favorite thing about ruins in WoW
Like and subscribe!
Small correction, the snake people in place 5 are called the sethrak, sethraliss is just the Loa
There are a lot of ruins on Azeroth. I would love to see Blizzard revibe some of these areas and make them livable again.
Architexture.
I knew about the crystal song forest thing because it was part of the dragonflight campaign where you can get tarecgosas rest as mount form!
I have not been waiting 10 years for this video
Night elf being immortal make alot ruins not change like darnassus was
Top 10 pointless water puddles?
Why does your intro sound so bored and rushed?
Well, pack it up everyone, Pointless Top 10 has been ruined.
I remember Turaylon mentioning something about possibly restoring lost cities from the old days after they restored Stromgard. So… could be?
Are you saying "architexture"?
Fun fact, you can get a murloc pet from a cave under water in the Riplash ruins.
"Architexture"
#9 is where you get the Merlock pet. it was in an underwater cave when I found it. Best to have water breathing active.
Twilight Highlands is woefully underappreciated.
I recently let my sub run out(yesterday), in part because there's not much to do, in large part due to my yearning to see Azeroth as it was grew too great for me to bear. I want to see the world pre-Sundering, explore the vast Night Elf empire and see its splendor. I want to see the world before the Dark Portal's opening, walk the streets of the original Stormwind, Stromguarde and Alterac. I want to wander Lordaeron before the coming of the Scourge and Horde, and gaze upon its majesty.
I love the many fantastic places we have in WarCraft that I can explore and visit. Boralus, Suramar, Draenor, The Broken Isles, the island nations of Kul'Tiras and Zandalar, and all the rest greatly please me. But the ruins tell of a grander story that I can only dream of, and that makes me a little sad.
Man, you forgot to mention the big scary fish monster which is located beneath the ruins you mentioned in borean tundra. I did the quests there just last week. The mob is a big scary elite, but when you impale it with a harpoon given by the quest lady, its hp falls to nearly zero, then you finish it in a pretty much regular fight.
Crendor fun fact! Onnearly development maps Alterac city was going to be the original "Dire Maul" focusing probably on JUST the Ogres, maybe with a syndicate wing or Argus Wake demon cult wing
Love me some good archatexture 😅
I think it would be cool if they took the wow classic template and pretty much made an MMORPG out of the events of the RTS games, like it would be cool to play through the events of the first through third wars from an " I'm really in this shit" perspective
Can we start a go fund me to pay to teach Crendor to say “architecture” lol
pretty sure midnight will have alot of northern eastern kindoms redone were going to gilneas next patch and were still two expacs away so seems like they have that planned as the alliance hub
s
"archiTECture" not "archiTEXture"
Perfect pick for #1.
Great pick for number one! Very underrated zone!
I would love to see a pointless video for everyone zone, starting from vanilla and progressing chronologically.
