Dude! I totally forgot about the statue of liberty!! Dude!!! Kinda funny you made that correlation with the planet of the apes. I guess I made that correlation YEARS ago. Back when leveling through the old world was like a normal thing to do. It's kinda crazy you bring this statue up. So much nostalgia there. Thanks for being you, dude. You're awesome and amazing and bring a hell of a lot more laughs than you might think you do!

I would picked Uthers Grave. but my Main is Paladin so i know why i pick him 🤣 maybe not so fancy looking as the newer Statues, but you wont find a more iconic Character.
They're Golems, Bosses for the next expansion.
The statues in Uldum basically look like the mobs that are there in Cata. Had not really noticed them before!

a lot of these feels like things a DM threw into their world when starting off cuz they sounded cool, and then like 5 years down the line their play group matures and start asking lore questions and the dm has to come up with something that kind of makes sense. I think the portal statues were thrown in cuz they had a cool idea for the art, and figured they'd hand wave it as dark ritual mumbo jumbo.
I love this series! Keep doing it please. It show us the majority of things scattered throughout the world have a meaning and a reason to be as much as we think they are random models and pieces. Wow it's such an amazing world I've been immersed through most part of my life ❤
The King’s Hoard room is so awesome. It shows that the Vrykul are like the Vikings, pillaging treasure from literally every other culture on Azeroth. Metal as heck.

I expcted number 1 or 2 to be big head of Gallywix in Azshara with his "penthouse" on top.
Crendor complaining about people telling him he left stuff out of his lists while at the same time ending all of these asking us to tell him what we thought should be on the list is the funniest thing I've seen/heard all day
My only complaint is that if you bothered to put the statue of Janeiro on the list, you should have shown what it looked it like pre-Cataclysm. Nowadays the only way you can see it (short of playing Classic) is in the Cataclysm cinematic, which I honestly think is the best one they've done so far.

A fun or weird thing about the Dark Portal is the colour inside it wasn’t always the same.
Oof… got the blue proto on my first clear when it came out… then again. I also got the headless horseman mount the my first time…. husband is mad. He just got the headless horseman mount this year after grinding for so long… still no blue proto.

The Watcher statues next to the Dark Portal, and you can find them also in Nagrand (Twilight Ridge) and Caverns of Time, and more places. They were confirmed in Shadowlands when I played the Revendreth storyline, that they are the Nathrezim a.k.a Dreadlords. They were the ones to inspire or persuaded Sargeras to make the Burning Legion, and they are the Watchers. Hooded because they don't wan't to be recognized as creatures from the realm of death.
I got the blue proto drake out of a tank bag a decade or so ago. I hadn't even started farming UP for it, and they just give me the thing for free.
