exciting new i dont mind them being late on release as long as we get a good game out of it nobody wants another BFA
I'm having a hard time seeing 8.3 lasting for another 6-8 months… people are already getting bored with it. Nya'lotha is over and done with for alot of guilds. People will do it for maybe 3 months ahead. But then it will die out most likely. I like your idea dalaran. With giving us cosmetic items etc by doing stuff preparing for shadowlands. That gives us something to do.

I think due to Covid there will be a long period of nothing i am guessing they will do pre patch a month earlier than normal at best
Corruption messed up the game big time. The removal of the PvP templates killed I PvP. Once players will get bored of m+ and guilds will exhaust from the new raid, it’ll die. Shadowlands is in a mess right now on alpha, classes are pruned once again and Convenants already seem like a very flawed design.
Shadowlands alpha is nowhere near release. So many specs feel bad even with the unpruning.
I suspect with the whole covid stuff we are looking at a november holiday release window.
They sould pay Asmongold a loadtruck of Money so he can keep the people engaged to wow
If it is reasonable to do so, I would rather the pre-patch drop early, both for something different to tinker with and so we have more time to adjust to the biggest changes since perhaps the Wrath pre-patch.

If the release date is around the 6 month mark from now than yes they should at least come out with some type of world events leading into shadowlands. The pre – patch should be rlease in the next couple or months or so instead of nothing but dry content for the next few months that would be extremely disappointing. I could of sworn they said they were going to do another scourage invasion.

Anytime Blizzard releases an expansion or patch its always on the same week when there is a Monster Hunter patch, a Final Fantasy release or another MMO releases there updates.
quarter 4 of a fiscal year is July-September. Which also tracks far more with their dev release cadence for prior expansions. I'd bet money on late August to early September

So 6 months till SL release is a looong wait, Id say Blizz should bring back the Mage tower. Many players didn't complete their artifacts appearances this will be a good opportunity to do that and keep players subscribed. Because in the report says the player base was good in this past month, that was only because of covid, states are reopening and summer is coming so i expect many people cancelling their subs till SL release.
Blizzard is likely going to line up the SL pre-launch with FFXIV patch 5.3, Square originally intended for a June release but has now delayed it to July-August.
My guess is August 23rd. Or atleast it was because of the rona. 23rd because that’s when the 6months of game time from the mouse mount ends. And August because that’s the month the last 2 xpacs have been released.
Rave from long boi people of you dispatch and remove that mount. Leave the mount until realease night
I wouldn’t mind a few month long pre patch. They’re pretty fun and better than nothing.
Magetower like mini event within the prepatch which comes earlier then normal. If you are able to complete the Magetower event on X-Classes you get guarantee access to closed beta.
Then within the beta there is a system to incentives Feedback and your account unlocks a toy / Pet / Mount / Xmog or smth if you tested and detailed reported your opinion X times.
I want them to abandon bfa and push everyone to make shadowlands our wow we love.

What I want them to put into live is a sort of nostalgia period. For about a month or two they give us back the Mage Tower, you can run old raids with your guild at current difficulty, you can release a timewalking system over ALL OF WOW. They can systematically rerelease old, undoable raids for about a week or two like the original Naxx and Zul Aman, they can give us a new allied race to unlock and play that we know from a long time ago like Vrykul, High Elves, Forest Trolls, Naga ECT. (there's still room in the embassies and in the banners.) This would be cool

I'm happy we have a more concrete answer , and I'm also not worried about 8.3 lasting till then once your done with everything there is always mounts to farm pvp to do transmog to collect. If you lock yourself into just playing current content it's really a waste.
Does anyone know if they're gona fix the talent trees? Until they fix the talent trees to be similar to how they were during classic and up until cata, the game will be trash and no amount of hard work and effort will make the game good. Soon as they made the changes to the current talent trees the game started to lose subscribers and became dog shit. If you disagree, name one change that was universally accepted by the players as a good change since then

After 14 years of playing and the horrible job on BFA imo my wife and I are done with WOW I cant see the expac to be any better just a magnet for more time loss and tons of bad choices by Blizz to bore us even more. Classic was a joke not like Vanilla really and so many issues we stopped there and now will play ESO as it will probably keep us busy until we die.TY Blizz for the years of wasted time~
