A couple notes thanks to @Petra Meyer, spirit shock is being taken away from spirit beasts due to the return of tranquilizing shot, same with soothing water. I can’t find this on the interwebs but I trust him, he’s provided a lot of helpful info to the channel. Hunters mark will purge the invis on any trackable pets, so you can use that instead of freezing trap if you wish. Also, Ankha and Magria only appear once you progress the Cata Mt Hyjal questline, forgot to mention that one.

There's a ghost (or translucent, how ever you'd prefer to look at it) armoured boar that you can only get in RFK. I only mention it becasue A] you can only tame it in RFK, and B] Wilson (my one) is one of my longest owned and favourite pets I've tamed.
Best pet I ever had was an oil stained wolf until Blizzard stole him from me. Saddest day I ever had in wow when he disappeared from my inventory
I was able to get pretty much all the rate ones right before expansion launch , everyone was out in northrend messing with the boss grind . Got loque, skoll , Atticus the bear , gondria , king crush popped ice the first time for me ever and I accident killed him lol

short notice: for Ankha and Magria you need to do some quests in Hyjal until you unlock the Sanctuary of Malorne for the daily quests, otherwise you are in a different phase and might not see both of them. learned it the hard way when I saw one of the on my druid (who has completed the hyjal questline) and flew there with my hunter to see nothing );

Another Fel Raven to tame is the boss in Skyreach, he's orange reddish…. Good thing about having one of these is they give pathfinder (15% increase movement), which is great while in Shadowlands 😁

Easiest way to tame Hexapos…. when you fire a flare in front of his tracks to uncover him, lay a freeze trap on em… might take 2 tries while taming but you'll get him while he's in the trap…. I just tamed him that way.
How is Humar the Black Lion not on the list!! I remember camping 7 days for him back in TBC #goodtimes

Love these lists!!! I have been hunting some Spirit Beasts that I dumped due to lack of room at the time. I regretted it and have been hunting for a few years now! Just got Gondria this morning!!! Now on to Arcturis!
Odd fact, my Father was the first Alliance player to tame the white lion. My uncle helped him out with it and they did it during the beta, and then the same thing in the Alpha, and when the game came out they leveled super quick (because they knew the quests) and my father on day 1 in a couple hours of playing Tamed the White lion and named it Pride, because a group of lions is known as a pride, he never dismissed Pride (unless he had to or to tame something else) and Pride was his number one go to pet from Classic all the way to WoD when my father canceled his sub.
