Hey everyone! Thank you for clicking. I’ve been playing around with Restoration Druid since Legion, and I always wanted a basic guide to help me make sense of the kit. I’ve raided and ran mythic+ keys, and I’m really having fun with their kit in Shadowlands. This video is a guide of the Restoration Druid healing spec for complete beginners. This should give you just enough info to start playing around in Mythic Plus or raids. Hopefully this tutorial helps you out, and I hope it improves your gameplay! If you need more information on what talents, trinkets, legendaries, conduits, covenants, soulbinds, etc., definitely check out the written guides on WoWHead or IvyVeins. Both sites also have some greats tips on leveling as well.

  4. hey there, im a tank druid main and i never really wanted to play resto cus it just looked too weird to play. but now thanks to dis guide i see what i did wrongand now that i have everything keybound the way i like it too, its actualy fun to play. thanks a lot, the part where you told the HoTs strenghts really helped out!

    10 % mastery = lifebloom – 0% increese, rejuv – 10% on the rejuv = 10 REJUV HEALING not 10 % overall healing…

    EDIT: TARGET WITH NO HOTS healed by 10% mastery druid =

    1. Lifebloom – 100% efficency
    2. Rejuv – 110 % effect
    3. Recast lifebloom 120 % effect
    4. Recast rejuv 120 % efect

    THEN IT IS 20 %…. not in the case u explained

    Thanks for this guide! I have been mythic+ Resto Druid for some time now and I love to see other people's take on the class. I would only caution one additional add, the Wild Growth isn't a flat heal in that the earlier into the spell, the more it heals. This means if you're just rolling it out on-cooldown you will likely miss out on most of its heal. I think it's better to wait until large AoE damage has started, or you need the extra mastery from the HoT. This of course requires you to KNOW THE FIGHT and that is probably the best advice for any resto druid (Not to mention the rest of the party should they not wish to upset their healers :D). This is especially true if you have specific talents but that's where we leave the basics 😀

  28. I haven't played in a good while but looks like it's just keep rejuv rolling on everyone, keep lifebloom on the tank, regrowth on tank for mastery bonus and to use as a spot heal. Wild growth to keep everyone up, and target the three biggest morons with efflorescence. Got it.
