For now, how do you feel about the possibility of running Vesper Totem? 🤔
We're going to have an annoying situation in 9.1 where you want a different covenant for each type of content and each spec. Was much easier in 9.0 where necro was kind of best or close to best for both resto and ele in most content. We were less 'penalised' by the terribad covenant system.

Splintered Elements Legendary. How does it interact with Tumbling Waves conduit? Does it add stacks or extend timer or refresh timer? Also how does Marileth 9.1 Kevin's Oozeling capper trait work with Tumbling Waves? Do you get two Oozelings or …?
It’d be very interesting to get your take on which covenant might overall fit most effectively for a resto based on what offspec is also played. Or if resto is the offspec. Finding it very tough at the moment to decide what to do! Tend to mainly play Ele, but I’ve been healing more, and I’d say my time is maybe 60% M+ and 40% raiding. It’s decisions like, for shear damage throughput as Ele, Night Fae seem best, and I’d say works to M+ and raid. As resto, the heal part of Fae Transfusion feels a bit clunky to position correctly.
Then Venthyr. The soul bind upgrades in 9.1 could make this more appealing for Ele, though I still think more suited to enhance. You covered the resto perspective nicely in this vid!
The Necro soulbind upgrades in 9.1 just don’t really seem as strong (just from trying to understand them, I haven’t been able to try them) as the others. However I do wonder if overall, for Ele and resto in the type of content I do, if Necro will essentially be a safe choice.
So it’d definitely be interesting to hear your view of taking the damage specs into account too!

I've been playing kyrian shaman for months and it was extremely annoying to play around the totem radius. Maybe with this new legendary it will be a bit more interesting to actually try to min max that burst, but still, i'd like em to increase radius a bit from 8 to 10 (12) yrds or make some sort of more visible outline so others can play around it as well.
Should i keep playing rsham into 9.1 ? New raid looks a bit hostile to rsham with strats not allowing players to stay grouped where shams really shines.
let's hope vester totem stays OP because the covenant gear for Kyrian is so pretty. And let's be honest, vesper totem is annoying and clunky to play so having it a bit beefier is a nice trade off
