In this video I give some thoughts on the recent changes to Warlock. overall, Iām pretty disappointed on the timing specifically on why blizzard would do this.

Quick thing to add: This also nerfs the amount of infernals we will get over the course of a key/raid encounter, due to the lack of shard generation + how that interacts with Wilfreds
How & why they do it, makes sense to me, we were legit broken. What is sad is just the timing, do it 3 months ago or in a month when the patch is over, now you have completely fucked over any person trying to push rating. I'm 30 rating short of the Keystone cutoff and I feel like I just got fucked over twice because it feels like it's gotten pretty much impossible for me now to push & achieve the title.
According to sims, the destro nerf is about 600 DPS ST, and 10k DPS on 5Target. Pretty rough. This puts destro AOE in line with Demo. So most likely, I will just be playing Demo in keys since the ST is more valuable in higher keys. However destro sims as necrolord seem to be solid for ST. I just believe that is unrealistic since most of the time you're playing NF or Kyrian in raid.

Thanks for the video Lou, do you think is neccesary to go swich to demo ? I only push to 22. 23 key level.

At least we can still go surv. They're clearly safe from balance checks.
