I hope everyone is happy now. Everyone's dmg is going to get nerfed and our HP is going up to 40k when we have ilvl 220, nobody will kill anyone like the damp meta that was the entirety of BfA.
Decent place for Marksmanship? Our opening damage rotation has been reduced by about 35% overall damage. It takes us 2 buffs, and 3 gcds for our opener, and the first ability breaks us out of stealth before having a 1.5 second cast time on buffed aim shot. So overall you have almost 2.5 seconds to respond to a resonating arrow with a defensive ability and that's still not enough? Even without a defensive use, after the first big nerf, we were in a perfectly fine spot and weren't OP like before that nerf. Then they hit us again here because people are still complaining when most of them don't use reactionary defenses very well, and almost nobody is accounting for the gear gap now that there is no PVP scaling. It's so frustrating to watch a lot of classes in general being nerfed hard instead of other classes being brought up.
Overall I think both marksmanship and rogue both needed nerfs, I think MM was in a fine spot after the initial nerf, and this rogue Nerf is too heavy handed.
Guess I just go back to playing my warrior main now that nerfing all these classes has made warrior even stronger now in comparison lol
I play rogue as well as other classes, I have 3 at level 80. Now I agree rogues were a bit too strong in pvp, but not so much in pve. I am just worried about solo in torghast as sub now, as its going to be impossible almost.
Honestly just a bit of criticism, don’t have half the screen covered on black with your cam covering a very small portion of that half of the screen. Literally can’t read the hot fixes. And for content like this please leave a link to the hot fix.
This is a good thing! The solution for games not lasting too long is NOT "Rouge" and it is NOT "Oneshots"! Where is the player skill in a "one-shot kill"? Why is that even a discussion?! That is just trash and feels trash to play and trash to get killed by! Out with one-shots where you can not fight back!
Reinforcement for my resolve to wait for Burning Crusade Classic. Completely broken balance fixt by comepletely reworking the way classes work in pvp, or nerfing their pve damage and ignoring how it affects pvp. For the fourth expansion in a row.
This honestly improves the game for 80% of players. It's not fun to die in a rogue opener. It's not fun to get globaled from stealth by a hunter. Not everyone is playing high level arena. These classes were ruining all aspects of PvP for a lot of players
I love how sub rogue is man its ky favourite spec and i was baffled in BFA when it was just garbage, i understand it was just brutal before it gets nerfed, but i just cant stand playing Outlaw and assass spec man it just feels so boring and it just feels so bland. I've been playing rogue for so many years now and i hate being forced to play a spec i dont enjoy. I'm just hoping Sub isnt completely shit after this nerf.

The fact that blizzard listens to whiny people because they can’t play well enough to outplay an opener with their team or cd’s is stupid asf. How tf do sub rogues kill something with half the burst with very little sustain damage in between the bursts. I don’t wanna come out of stealth to hit like a wet napkin and just be a utility/control class. It defeats the whole purpose of being a rogue. If I wanted to be control and utility I’d play a resto Druid.
great changing covenant abilities now that we've all settled into covenants… ffs i knew i shoulda just gone with the best cosmetics cuz the abilites were gonna get fucked
I think they nerfed sub rogue like this because of the pve trinkets that still do 10k non crit so don't worry sub rogues you can still do one shots… but still I like the fast pvp games, I wish nerfs would be smaller I want to be able to trigger a defensive cooldown from my enemy when I do my burst but also the enemy has to have time to press that defensive cooldown and not die in one second… It will be hard for blizz with the tuning but let's hope they get it right. So far I love that there is no pvp scalling I hope they will never change that back.
We are getting there that nobody dies. Healers gonna stay afk and they will not die. Who want's that again? All high pvp players where happy with these fast rate why so many nerfs? Just buff the classes that are behind! Very bad change's
This is bullshit. I really don’t want the game to go back to bfa where nothing dies. I just came back to the game hoping it wouldn’t be a dampen game like bfa. I feel like a bunch of these changes should be reverted. Also really sucks that assa has always been better than sub since at least legion. I don’t want to feel like I have to either play the same spec again for another xpac or just reroll warrior
Turbo, thunder, wwdk and comps combining lock/SP/ele are gonna be pretty good after this I feel like. Was good before but some of this stuff was stopping you on occasion.
Sub rogues were a huge issue, only time will tell how these nerfs will affect them but something had to be done. As a mw monk, I’m sure happy they’re getting nerfed, it was way too much unjustified burst
