ISurvival is top notch in Mythic plus as well. Soothe, Binding Shot, Lust, perma slowing mobs, Hard CC and uncapped AoE makes them fantastic in dungeons. Im sure this comment will get downvoted, at least until the meta shifts and folks realize what they're missing but hey. Year of the Spear!
Survival doesn't have a well defined identity. They threw random things from past hunter specs into a pot and then added grenades + mongoose bite. It's a fun spec, but the spec identity just isn't there.
I feel like gearing for pvp in SL is way more difficult than in BFA.. I don’t get how people can have ults at 245 ilvl so fast. Maybe there is a mechanic I’m missing here but I’m really struggling as a returning player, any tips? My highest geared toon is resto Druid and I’ve managed to get to 1500 in 2s.. I know to most of you that’s not even a challenge, but I wanted to try healing.
I wish you tried out survival hunter in legion. I played it to 3k cr in 3s back then and the spec used to be waaaaaay more fun back then instead of this dumbed down bomb build it is right now where nothing is really impactful apart from your bomb damage.
Definitely got a soft spot for survival! Nice change of pace when maining either of the other Hunter specs for a while. It feels great to play, agree with you 100%.. give it a go if you haven’t tried it!
So nice to see a spotlight on this spec. Survival has the best sustainability out of the 3 hunter specs thanks to Mending Bandage, especially if we're referring to battlegrounds, in my opinion.
I bought the weapon for it. Spent 17000 honor to upgrade and it just sits in my bags because mm is way too fun

Survival is insane. Its low key OP. BM and MM taking all the limelight while Survival flying under the radar. Its so fun to play though
I'm a PvP/vE player. Surv will go well with my arcane feral lineup. Insta kick in PvE but hella fun in PvP.

Sure, a lot of fun specs out there, but CBA grinding honor,conduits, renown, leggo etc. for weeks… Still waiting for the game to become playable.
