Shadowlands How To Gain Renown SUPER Fast Guide! & How It Works

Today I’ll be teaching you guys everything you need to know about gaining renown in World of Warcraft Shadowlands! Below is a written order in which i’d recommend you guys follow in order to maximize the amount of renown you can get in a week. Feel free to do swap things up as much as you want, and do them in whatever order you want :

I’d always recommend doing the lower difficulty content EARLIER as the lower renown you are, the more likely you are to gain renown from lower difficulty content, and vise versa.
1) Save all your “guaranteed forms” of renown for later in the week. (Calling quests, world boss, anima/souls collected quests, covenant campaign quests)
2) Do low difficulty easy content FIRST. (Heroic dungeons/Battlegrounds/Arena skirmishes)
3) Once you’re at about 6 or 7 renown you can dip into what the game considers slightly higher difficulty, therefore giving you a higher chance of obtaining renown (LFR, Mythic 0s, low rated PvP)
4) Start doing higher difficulty content once you realize you’re no longer obtaining renown from doing lower difficulty stuff (Normal Mode/Heroic Mode Raid, Mythic + etc)
5) Once you have about 15-20 renown, or you’re locked out of all the raids etc you can start turning in all of your guaranteed renown, which should easily add up to 13+ renown (2 from weekly quests, 8 or 9 from the campaign, 3 or more from callings, 1 from the world boss)

  1. What we could really use is a good guide to doing the quests from the Hand of Fate to Dark Awaken to War of Light and Shadow to get to the You Are Now Prepared! Reputations.

    I haven't played in 7 yrs and just coming back and between Legion and Shadowlands quests they are all over the place, and the guides online SUCK!!!

  4. I have all classes at max level now and many maxed out.
    From a fresh dig 60, i first do all the campaign chapters that gets you to 190 or so gear, then hit m0 all of them for the week, and one m+ for a vault drop, then all the wb wq and covenant quest, then torghast 8/8 and bolvar quests. I usually do lfr raid for a specific bis legendary which you can craft right away at that point, and thats the first week ready to go. Usually i am around 32 renown at that point.

  6. I too made the swap to night fae as fury this past Monday. I also went full no life mode. Got to 20 renown on the same Monday by doing lfr, all 8 mythics, my callings, and the maw related covenant weeklies. On Tuesday I repeated all of that and threw in a normal full clear, world boss, and finished the campaign. By the end of the Monday and Tuesday I was sitting at 37 renown. Would not recommend especially since I burned through my guaranteed renown early but overall it didn’t take as long as I thought. Very feasible to your average player to get it done within a week of casual play. If I had one tip it’s that depending on your server try and get lfr done ASAP as the queue times are much better early in the week.
