The WoW Forums are already in full swing with people raging that there is “nothing to do” that “everything is too hard” or “its all too easy lol” but no matter what it all ends with the usual “say good bye to my sub”
how about we take a breath and give Shadowlands a little time to get its feet, we are still in the tutorial at the moment.

The Answer to the question posed by your title is yes, Shadowlands does have limited things to do… and for what they believe to be good reasons.
Though i would be careful assuming what you take away from a game or remember from playing a game may not universal. 12:07 some people's fondest memories are when they received "random weapon of doom" and they may or may not very rarely ever socialize, that doesn't make them flawed people or that they need to Quantify there in game enjoyment differently. People are people and what comes with that is difference.
Now i do believe the change in Shadowlands is good as it caters to its older market, but i will only hold that belief if Blizzard can back up the idea that what keeps the game alive are the people who have been here for years, that they have more returning players then new players and they should adjust the game to fit the market that actually plays it.
however if Blizzards data shows them the majority of there playerbase are brand new 12-18 year olds then the game should be adjusted for that demographic (who would in principle have more time and not have to worry about, mortgage, job, wife/husband and kids).
I would have appreciated a commentary on retail/Shadowlands and Classic and how Classic is influencing (or not) retails game. you can definetly tell in SL PvP that they have taken a more Classic approach along with greatly reducing gear acquisition to increase desire for items.
