This will be one of my three pre patch guides I’ll be doing to cover each specialization of rogue. ^^ I hope this video is helpful to you as I cover all of the changes and information I have regarding subtlety rogue so far during pre patch! This information is subject to change so I always HIGHLY recommend simming your own character when making any decisions.

This is the macro I was talking about in the video. You can of course change it as you see fit, but this works pretty well for my tastes. Also, again, this information will probably fluctuate a bit while the rogue community starts parsing and getting in to really see how strong each thing is, but all this information should give you a good bit of insight as to what has changed and what you should be doing as subtlety. ^^

/cast [stance:0] Shadow Dance (This makes it where you shouldn't be able to re-cast shadow dance unless shadow dance is no longer active or you're out of stealth)
/cast Shadow Blades
/cast Symbols of Death
/use 14 (This is for my on-use trinket, if you have one. If you do /use 13, it will be the top trinket slot, and /use 14 is the bottom trinket slot ^^)
/cast Shadowstrike
/cast Berserking (Troll Racial lines up with Shadow Blades as a 3 minute CD which is nice and I forgot to mention it in the video)
You can, of course omit shadowstrike from this if you so choose to to make it more generic, but I have two separate ones on the beta- One is for shadowstrike, and one is for shuriken storm, since eventually shuriken storm critical hits will apply find weakness, meaning you're guaranteed to have find weakness out due to the symbols of dance effect.

Forgive and correct me if I’m wrong but should we really focus so hard on azerite traits and essences with them being irrelevant and gone in SL? Other than that this video still helped me so much appreciated

I just boosted a rogue and this guide has a lot of useful information but it’s missing a rotation section which is like the thing I was looking for. Feels weird to watch a spec guide without the rotation/opener/tricks part.
Hey red rogue I’m new to subltey. And I’m trying to figure out interface to help me in PvP and PvE. I saw ur set up where it shows how long slice and dice is up and rupture same with ur energy. I wanted to know what Addons are those because it would really help me
Is it better to hold off on your 2nd dance charge until find weakness needs refreshing or use it back to back during the opener?

I copied your weak aura, but it only shows energy bar. Slice and rupture is not shown. Do I need to do any settings on it?

opens up by saying slice and dice is great but no sub uses slice and dice in pvp. – this made me go yikes and look at something else.

In Shadow Dance you only spam Shadowstrike ?
