  1. Im telling you, this change is only there because breath builds were under performing. Blizzard understands that BoS is not very practical, and the only way to make players pick breath of sindragosa is to make the practical obliteration/icecap builds completely not viable. It is also a known fact that blizzard look at PvE before even considering anything in PvP. Frost is mediocre spec in all types of content, and after this nerf forcing us to opt into breath, it's safe to say that we are a dead spec (pun NOT intended). When the spec revolves around a fricking talent, it is broken beyond repair. Just delete Breath and balance this spec right, this is ridiculous!

  2. I'm sure they put names in a hat and decide the hierarchy for classes before an expansion. Because the "balancing" they do just doesn't make any sense the majority of the time. It's like they are trying to nail some classes to the floor, while raising others that don't need to be.

  3. Weapon swap was just bad idea in general but yea I came back after bfa just to look at pre-patch and as a frost build prim I was so confused looking at the numbers. It looks like I can hit hard with 2h or fast with dw but the numbers don't add up! 😝 If I'm lucky my ob hits 700 but yea 500 I'm like hmm even my rime howling deals 700 🤔 going back to blood I guess 🤷 no joke at this point a scourge invasion zombie can prob kill a frost dk lol

  4. There not just balancing for the pre patch you have to look at end game level 60 content. To be all honest Ill be leveling has unholy till at least 58 till rank 2 Killing Machine when are obliterates will hit for frost dmg.

  5. I think to put it simply, the biggest problem is the lack of classes being treated equal. Their mindset has to want all of the specs and classes performing relatively the same…. right?

  6. Could we make Frost Strike a builder (costs two runes) and Obliterate a spender that costs a good amount of runic power and would do good dmg. Would justify obliterate hitting hard

  7. Do what i did, i was also delusional for a bit and quickly leveled a new DK on horde for SL, but disgusting bs i saw wednesday i dropped it and now i am leveling a warrior but probably i will not play 80% of the expansion out of disgust like BFA. Dropped dk at start of bfa in favor of DH because it was humiliating to get told wtf you do no damage fuck off and get kicked. I see its gona happen again, and the most disgusting thing is they are looking only at PVE they dnt give a fuck about 2h PVP that i used all day everyday in WOTLK and CATA, i only wanted to get 2H pvp power back not this BS again. Also do not look for a viable reason why they are doing this, because it is simple "each time whining cunts complain about frost dk they fuck up the class to please the retards" thats it end of story. Since a new dev team was assigned to DK from MOP every year it has gone worse and last was when they said in Legion paladin too weak, frost dk too strong whiny shits complained and what happened huh, result in BFA paladin overpowered frost dk useless unless you get 9999999 haste.

  8. I have been playing online games since they came out long ago. NOTHING shows "developers" a company hires are incompetent more than nerfing. And NOTHING makes people more upset and makes them quit a game than nerfing. Nothing… NOTHING!

Blizzard has lost a golden opportunity yet again with this nonsense (I am being polite). The company has become clueless. And once you break trust with a portion of a community it spreads like cancer. What a shame. What a shame Blizzard to hire incompetent "developers".

  9. Hey remember when "…having a separation between PVE stats and PVP stats through modifier 'knobs' and templates that we can adjust will allow us to keep both fair and interesting." ?
Let's be honest here, they do this stuff on purpose.
I'm supposed to believe that after almost 2 decades, the big brain boys at Blizzard still can't figure out how to math their toys, and despite the fact that the numbers in PVP are completely fake and just % based.

I'll be honest, I had to check multiple times when they added MotFW back, thought I was hallucinating, but they did actually do a good thing there and credit to them, but the sheer fact that BoS still exists, unchanged, speaks volumes.
The talent tree has so much potential, even with very small changes they could make a huge difference, but they just don't- they've settled on Frost being the meme Breath spec and Unholy being the real DK DPS spec.
How about doing something with Glacial Advance, a talent that has been dead since the first PTR it was introduced and was never once touched again? How about turning Frostwyrm's Fury into something you actually build towards, rather than a completely random, free, huge burst on a long CD?

But then again, the expansion is already delayed, and this MMORPG can't support 40 people being in the same spot without crashing and burning, so I guess they have bigger fish to fry.
