Seems like that's how it will play out, and I don't think that is fair or even a good idea on Blizzard's behalf.

I hate myself for hiting 50 on my rogue I was legit just pvping from 10 and just doing a few dungeons and quests,transmog farm. took me two days played without even trying and mostly just don't bgs.
If you turn off exp at 49 you enter into a seperate que for battlegrounds with others who have exp turned off. I stayed in that que for 30mins and never got a game.
Your not able to enter BG's while your xp is shut off,I tried to do it before and I was never able to enter for 20 mins,after that I gave up
So I turned it back on and a battleground popped up,I tried to trick the system by waiting at the xp vendor until the BG popped up and quickly turn my xp off before entering the BG,and the option for the enter or leave queue but it disappeared as soon as I turned xp off
4'ish% increased versa doesn't seem worth it. Basically, 20% increase on the Beta was like going from 17%-19% versa, 40% is gonna be like 17%-21%. This difference is not going to be noticeable. Why can't they just make it an actual 40%, like from 17%-57%? ….20% would be more realistic (aka 37%) than the 40%, but if they ramped it up this much in pvp combat, people would have to use the trinket. (I think as a perk, they should increase the dmg reduction too, almost guaranteeing people will use the pvp trinkets)
After BLIZ has absolutely destroyed my favorite class (Havoc DH) in prepatch. …nerf nerf nerf. They are unplayable trash now. I prepared for SL by unsubscribing!!!!

bgs wont pop lvl 49 with xp off bc the brackets arnt merged, u wont be with the levelers and theres not enough ppl qing with xp off for a pop.

The release-date on Thanksgiving will have a positive impact on Corona numbers.
They changed the xp off BGs to be in a separate bracket again a little after the start of BFA. Too many QQers.
