  1. Me and my friend on ally played in warmode, literally no allys in sight, everyone was horde, when we first entered that arena at the start of maldraxsus, it was fucking chaos but so much fun, had a very good time

  2. I spent my first hour looking at an empty character page on draenor EU. Then I worked the entire next day. Then I logged in again, and i spent the next 5 hours in faulty queues. Best launch ever.

  3. Well not so much this channel but some of the other famous content owners just had months of moaning and complaining at this and that and what i discovered is that all that content was just trash. I have loved every area, every zone just great story, characters, quests and experiences. This will be a great expansion for me at least.

  4. My priest took aaaages to lvl. Looting and talking to npcs took a min+ half the time. As for storydriven. I liked it, but i sit left with a feeling that its the same story copy paste in all four zones. However revendreth had a spin on it, and revendreth was also acually fun. Compared to the other 3. Esp maldraxxus was a drag. Ardenwield felt pointless. Bastian was a good intro. Teaching me all about shadowlands. All in all, apart from too many dcs and server issues, the lvl was slower than i thought but good. I am worried about it being so slow on alts? That would suck!

  5. I played from 4:30 pm Pacific time until 1:00 Am and I got to level 58 while casually enjoying the questing. I am halfway through ardenweald. I'm on US Hyjal and I had zero issues logging in and no lag either. So I guess my realm is lower pop. It was fun!

  6. I logged in okay Illidan US. But the lag for dialog and looting was terrible. Ended up getting DC, about 40 min in, and couldn't log back in for a few hours. Got to 60 just a couple hours ago. I still need to finish Revendreth story. Logged out to take a break.
Very enjoyable story, good mix of quests, and the environment is very well done. I love the Maldraxus storyline, but the zone is blah. It's like a mix of Eastern Plaguelands with the Barrens.

  7. Since there is no great time pressure of getting to lvl 60 I am taking it slow, enjoying the rp part of the questing. We will have to see how I feel about it 4 chars in, but I have been enjoying my journey to 56 (so far) more than I enjoyed leveling in previous expansions.
    So, Blizzard, well done 😀
I have not tried dungeons yet though since I am a filthy dps player and the queues take too long 😉

  8. Got to about 56 before I got tired and went to bed. Liked it after I got away from the paladin holy angel righteous zone. I didn’t like that first zone at all. And yeah I kinda hated and liked the listening thing. Liked Revendreth hated Bastion.

  9. i hate levelling in general but this time it was especially cancerous. SO MUCH waiting and rp walking with quest npcs i dont care about with lore shit i dont care about. really makes you appreciate those countless kill x mobs and collect x items. there should be a checkbox in the options called 'enable lore mode. only then should you see quest texts, npcs talking, walking with npcs and all this time wasting shit

  10. I leveled to 60, it went smoothly. Skipped most side quests since my realm had a 30% war mode bonus. I didn't encounter much in the way of PvP, in Maldraxxus and Ardenweald I saw a total of one Horde character, and in the other areas it seemed like nobody wanted to fight. As I was reaching the end of Bastion, I heard people complaining about getting ganked in the early zone though, so I imagine that I got ahead of the people who wanted to PvP since in ganking, they also slowed their own progression so I was stuck with the other leveling focused crowd.

Once I reached 60, I unlocked the Maw and got my eye to about three quarters of the way through tier 3 and killed the toy that sends you up into the air before I decided to stop.

I think I liked Bastion the most out of the zones, but I ended up going night fey anyway since I didn't hate it and it sims better for my class in every spec.

  11. Dreth and bastion also my preferred zones. Paid 0 attention the any of the story but the ride was okay. Enjoying the post-leveling experience more. Feels good to just be exploring and figuring out the systems without much pressure as a returning player.
Night fae was pretty cringe but I had to choose their covenant and the campaign quest was actually better for me than the story one.

  12. as I still didn't have a clue what to main: leveled a lock through the maw, switched to a rogue and got to 53… Now 56 on my warrior which I'll be maining, strangely arms feels more appealing than anything else we got now.

  13. I have taken my time so far, been reading every quest and listening to every dialogue. I hit level 54 just before bed last night, average time per level was 70-90 minutes, so I expect two more nights of playing to get to level 60. But it's no rush, a year from now it's not gonna matter if you took one or three days to get to 60.
So far I have only been in Bastion, I unlocked Maldraxxus but have yet to go there. Bastion has been very story heavy which was fine, but I do hope that I get left alone a bit more in the upcoming zones.
Leveling as Holy Priest has been fine too, damage is good especially compared to how it used to be for Holy.

  14. Being a normal adult with important real life responsibilities cough boomer I started my journey the day after release, after work, after the kids were tucked up in bed and, most importantly, after polite small talk with the wife. I then proceeded to finesse my sexy Night Elf Rogue bitch from 50-54 in the lovely but massively gay Bastion, ruthlessly ganking any and every Horde wasteman I could find before dragging my sensible arse to bed by midnight. Surprisingly, I still had enough energy to give the mrs a good seeing to and fall into a blissful sleep dreaming of macros, keybinds and covenants. Same again tonight. Happy days.
