Updated Shadowlands tank tier list, but this time for Mythic+ as we dabble into warcraft logs data and get lots of feedback and input from top tanks in the game, essentially basing all of this into a proper shadowlands tanks ranked overview for dungeons. It’s a great way to understand the shadowlands tanks comparison and although we know it’s impossible to please everybody with a shadowlands tanks tier list, we do due diligence to make all the correct placings based purely on what tanks can and can’t do in dungeons, groups etc. Keep it close to MarcelianOnline for more updates on wow tanks comparison vids and more 🙂

Pally will make the revolution youll see. He will be on top or will be classified as equal in terms of mitigation with all the tanks apart from bdk i think if shield if the righteous gets buff. More armor, block , leech something. Also VDH fun:)
Make the SOTR scale off of Str or AP. Then give it 5 or 10% block scale off of AP or Str.

The tier list fridays are so cozy to watch before bed idk
Ngl this tier list feels weird, Prot Paladin doing 24's at 2.8k rio and being ranked as C tier while BDK at 2.5k rio ranked as B tier while no one has achieved a 24 on them despite having players like Naowh (the guy who won most of the MDI tournaments since BFA) and Tomoboar (R1 druid world) both having a few hours on their BDK. Same with Warrior, 2 weeks in and all we have now is hype on the warrior, a Prot Warrior is yet to time a 24 and break out of the 2.5k rio and yet they are ranked as A tier? It makes it hard to understand the ranking system especially when its meant to be more analytical.

Darkglare gives a 40% chance to have what is essentially Meta (16 secs as demon vs 15 from Meta). On a 50 sec cooldown with conduit is just too strong. I literally play with NO addons and I can tank 15s with my eyes closed now as VDH
TLF Friday is great
It's not quite right to say the balance makes no difference at lower keys. A tank that's three keys weaker is still three keys weaker in lower keys. So if a tank is 3 key ranks behind that means tanking an 15 on that tank is as hard as tanking an 18 on the stronger tank and there is a pretty huge difference between doing 15s and 18s. In fact I think it's safe to say that for anyone, whatever level they do M+ on, going up 3 full ranks on their keys would be a huge change.
Hey, what is the VDH damage reduction bug. I wanted to find it, but did not see it anywhere. Could you please share your knowledge?

The “nerf” to vengeance conduits were actually a huge buff to survivability, Atleast the one to fel defender, dmg nerf isn’t that bad

prot pala, wears plate, a shield, has shield ability, which increases armor, still is a glascannon, DH and Monk, wear LEATHER, have NO SHIELD way less armor and are more tanky, blizzard wtf are u dudes smoking 🚬?! 🤣
I've been healing mythic +9/10 and Monks are by far the hardest to heal. Their health just spikes all the time, on bosses, on trash, doesn't matter.
Everywhere I go I see all these demon hunter tank mains and I'm just like "you meta slave POS"
I seriously miss ye olde Mark of Ursoc, which was a magic based Ironfur for Bears. was only around for… 7.0-7.1, I think? With all the magic damage coming in, it was so nice!
Paralysis works on the group in Mists for skipping 🙂
All tanks are good for m+…. not prot pally tho. You need a coordinated group to help you stay alive, if you pug as prot you’re toast
This list is interesting, because Asa main healer, I personally would put DH in the F tier and warriors and bear is S.
Just rolled a bear in the last 2 weeks. Feels great, has consistent mitigation, and can just do druid shit. Bear is up next you will all see!

dont forget guardian druid's legacy of the sleeper…makes you immune to loss of control effects and 15% increased leech. I love my guardian druid

FYI that pack in Mists you were talking about there are 3 other ways to deal with it:
Mage: Poly, mage runs by first, then group, mage invis off aggro.
Monk: Paralyze the mob then ring of peace to push it towards the other mobs giving you enough space to get by.
Priest: Mind soothe and run by.
I really don't understand how bdk don't have the highest dmg of all the tanks, they don't have a shield specifically because of that…
