  1. Many Covenant problems can be resolved by Blizz simply allowing us to eventually unlock each of them. The player could still be forced to make a thoughtful decision as the process would require them to completely unlock one Covenant (rep, etc) before moving on to the next. This would reward players who like and spend their time on just one class, remove the need to make an identical toon in order to play different Covs and gain their advantage in different minigames (pvE vs. pvP), and give them something to grind (which is always what they are trying to do). Lore-wise, it makes sense we would need all of the Covenants' support in order to deal with whatever is happening in the Maw. If you read this and agree, please say something to Blizz. Me saying this all alone is just me complaining, but with the community's help, they may listen.

  2. Gotta admit; your coverage of SPriest made me tempted to come back to WoW for Shadowlands. I love ramping dot classes that punish you hard for ignoring them, but can also take a beating. Any additional thoughts on it much appreciated.

  3. Blizzard really putting that extra development time to good use by implementing convoluted systems, to fix problems caused by the convoluted systems they just created.

It's like a fake use case created to explain mismanagement.

  4. So on conduit changes. I know it's beating a dead horse at this point but why the arbitrary limits?

In Magic the Gathering you can make infinite combos. They are really fun and engaging to build, and it's so satisfying to unveil a new combo to your playgroup. I make infinite combos because the cards involved provide meaningful choices and the combo/deck is better for it. I can change out the cards however much I want. There's no rule/limit that says before a round that I can't change the cards of my deck (besides maybe a tournament). The limits set on deck size are limits made because without some rules there isn't a game. Other limits just make the game jagged. One of my biggest complaints about Dark Souls II is that unlike the other two games, it activly made it feel as if the game didn't want me to play it. This was done by reducing your max health on death until idk 50% for the sake of argument. There are more but this comment is already tldr. The point being, limits aren't bad, but have a reason for it. Don't make your game turn away players.

  6. To blizz
The shadowlands delay i get it want to make alot of ppl happy with the xpac now that your doing what the fans wanted. It seems like the fanbase has a whole list of what they want done and it will take much longer to create the xpac . They are greedy when you do one thing for them they want it done all the time. . Props to you listing but our fanbase will never listen.

    to WOW fanbase
You only get one scoop of ice cream you don't get the whole dam tub stop being greedy and let them create the game.

  7. Well Blizzard could have used the covenants to actually add a flavour to the whole class. Four different schools of magic/power that mix with classes…not just 2 extra spells. Immagine a Vengeful prot/holy/ retry paladin or a Sentencing Demon Hunter…ofc this means each Covenant will have a specific path… similar to the concept of the movie “The divergent”…and from there each covenant would draw power and philosophy of existence in the Shadow realm…. like path walkers that help you decide who do you wonna become after life and are you gonna stay as a pitiful soul or as a resurgent soul

  8. I actually like the conduits and how they work. It feels like a really gameplay relevant decision one has to make and not this typical "everyone gets everything".

  9. Death Knights are /the/ slowest class in the entire game. Without mounts, do you think that they'll struggle to achieve what other classes set out to do? For instance, druids are speedy gonzalez. Are they going to be able to do twice the content that my character will be able to accomplish?

  10. How badly do the covenants themselves restrict multi specs? Do pve and pve arms have diff bis covenants? Pve ele and pvp resto sham? Nobody does just one thing in this game and it sucks having to pick one aspect of play to prioritize needlessly

  11. Great change to the conduits
    Still needs a little tweak
Should probably have a pool of 10 cap, with 1 per day generated per spec
    Or
Make soulbind setups swap with spec

Then you still are limited in total conduit swaps, but can still do so for those of us who multi spec

  12. To fix the shaman totem from the faction they have to give it more health to where its not just a one shot. Not a skill ill be using on my shaman but its the only fix I can see to make it actually viable in pvp. That being said they can't give it a insane amount of health.. maybe make it half or 1/4 the health of earthen shield totem, give it sturdiness without making it op and impossible to kill.. (Personal opinion)

  13. "So you are able to have the strengths of both" Which was the entire point of covenants, to make people stick to one build with strengths and weaknesses instead of only have strengths for their content of choice instead of being perfect at everything, that change definitely hurts that point.

  14. You fell for Blizzards trap. This was their plan for Conduits all along, however if they released it like this people would complain there's not enough freedom. Instead it's "better than it was" so you're filled with false gratuity.
