You missed that Enh also gets Stormstrike as a trigger on Awakening Storms. I also don't understand why you think it's more natural for Ele. Is it just because Ele spams LB and CL while Enh uses them as finishers?
I like it and hero talent is evergreen and always evolving
shit shit shit, legit a washed up ele talent build
tempest looks kinda lame , was expecting old stormbolt animation
lol pointless video, literally NOBODY plays shaman
ele rework when
Having watched several of these videos about hero talents from various creators I can say that this format that is widely adopted of reading trough the talents with saying whatever pops into your mind is neither interesting nor informative.
First of all, most of these nodes are irrelevant to the gameplay, they are just a passive boost to damage. Also, talking in Alpha about numbers is pointless. Second, commenting on something while still not having a full picture is also a waste of time.
My suggestion, play some hero talents for a dungeon or at least hit target dummies for 5 mins and then talk about how the gameplay feels. Does it change from base class at all or not, is it better or worse. Is it cool or not. It would take probably half an hour longer in preparation for the video, but the viewers could get something out of it.
Because this right now is like having a Text-To-Speach read tooltips of Wowhead page.
Just so disappointing
Was hoping for more of a lava-based tree instead of farseer or totemic
The important question is if this removes the need for that dumb Icefury spell
So underwhelming… all this time for this!?? comparing this to all mage hero talents and voidweaver this is absolutely unacceptable like wtf
So wait, every spec has a hero talent tree that fits their theme better and one that lets them branch out into another spec, but Enhance just has 2 talent trees belonging to other specs?
Passive, passive, passive, passive, passive.
This kinda looks really fun. The lightning builds have always felt good in animation and sound and they are pretty simple and fun to play. So if they give me more of that, great.
The devs don’t know anything about ele shaman to that point that they have tempest replacing a builder instead of a spender. It’s clown behavior
shaman just feels so outdated, especially ele. I suspect it will get a mid expac rework.
Strong disagree with your first take there dratty, it's very much an enhance forward hero talent tree. Elemental really doesn't want to press lightning bolt ever, whereas enhance has an entire build centred on the gameplay loop this tree supports already.
I expect a lightning build comeback from Elemental. This is interesting, makes that builds' gameplay more dynamic and now we have more than one viable option other than meatball machine gun.
I think this looks sick I've wanted ele to be more about lightning for a long time. It is gonna look like a lightning disco in dungeons
"enhancement hooks are less obvious" , someone hasn't touched enh shaman since before maelstrom weapon. Ele come off as the afterthought in this tree.
2.25 free chains? The chains do 75% INCREASED damage, not 75% of its damage
Tempest needs to be instant. It avoids needing to make it work with stormbringer or having to wait for it on enhance shaman
There is no way that i am not gonna have a macro that yess "Unnnlimmited POWEERRRR" when i press tempest on ele.
Tempest needs to look SO much cooler, this is lame
I would say this is more for Enhance than Ele. It pretty much ignores all of the Fire part of the Ele tree which is a major loss for raids and single target fights. Meanwhile Enhance plays largely the same with Stormbringer.
It’s all too obvious to people that not all Hero Specs are created equal. The Mage trees all stand as hallmarks to good design, the Warlock trees are not perfect but still acceptable, the Shaman trees are a complete joke. I get that these designs will evolve over time but it doesn’t seem like the class devs are putting equal effort into design across the classes.
So nothing for our survivability in PvP? Ah, and the melees have more capclosers, nice…
