Such useles nerfs, doesnt change a thing in arena. This company is so delusional.
MM already dead in the water PvP wise and they are still AoE capped with trick shot which reduses they viability in PvE content. Binding shot nerf is just a final nail in their coffin.
Mage nova is weaker. Yeah. But mages are stronger than hunters survavillity wise, burst wise and EVERYTHING wise. Mages feel like they wear plate, same as shadow priest. Nerfing ways to survive as a hunter will impact them harder. They make all this changes with BM in mind and this changes hit MM harder. Blizzard devs hate their own game

Hunters are already among the squishiest classes in the game, with garbage group utility. What special DO they bring now? Literally nothing. The only slight argument is immunity, but mages have ice block, which is a total immunity as opposed to turtle (which doesn't negate DoTs or anything, and doesn't have a conduit that HEALS US TO FULL WHEN WE USE IT (?)), and immunities are rarely important in M+ anyway, for example, though, admittedly, sure, we can move while turtling, but this is also something that is hardly relevant for situations where immunities are actually needed.
In raids, we bring nothing that a group needs, with MM hunters having to sacrifice damage to even BL, which mages and shamans get for free. In fact…hunters might be the only class who do not bring any unique group utility or value to a group of all the ranged DPS specs, seeing as mages (and this is ignoring spec-specific utility, like Dragon's Breath) have CC with Poly and a root with Frost Nova and a raid buff with the Intellect buff and a total immunity with Ice Block for soaking mechanics, plus an instantaneous blink that can have two charges and constant damage mitigation with their barriers and Alter Time, which can be literally broken in extremely skilful and fast-reacting hands, but &*!@ it, since mages are the protagonists of World of Warcraft; in addition to that, Shadow Priests bring stamina buff and PI (which I know is usually self-cast, but can still provide utility as a low-geared SP towards a super geared carry character in the group); Ele shamans can at least Bloodlust without sacrificing damage during the biggest damage window (which is the case if you wanna play MM) and they have more or less something LIKE a "mass root"/tank help ability in Earth Elemental (and no, hunter pets do not count for this, because they literally get pretty much one shot in any dungeon or raid content worth discussing); warlocks give healthstones, demonic gateways, and albeit this is irrelevant in an organized guild group, they also have summoning stones; and boomies, well…not only do they dominate logs and only get better the more streamlined raid kills get (though they are also brought for prog), they can just do everything druids can in general, which is just a silly class overall, considering it can just swap forms at will (durr, why is not changing stances to basically just change roles a thing for other classes then?).

As a BM main that does decent M+ levels I mean binding shot nerf is kinda unwarranted and I don't really pvp often but the "nerfs" don't really seem to bother me much if at all ._.
