Talents are currently balanced for being optimal in different situations for lots of specs. There aren’t that many specs that never change talents.
I miss the BC talent trees
Blizzard needs to adopt the K.I.S.S. method.
I think the talents would be a bit more interesting to build around if they were like the warmode ones where you can choose a finite number of them among a list that you unlocked, either that or a system similar to runes in League of Legends.
I wouldn't say apa to remove something but make the choice of something important even if it's not mainstream.
I don't want to pick something just because it has the best damage and defense but because it's also good for me and still seen as viable by everyone. I've had to listen to an idiot complaining that he wanted me to use a rogue skill I didn't choose to make the group go invisible for some mobs.
Players: We want customization
Blizzard: Talents to create unique builds
Also Players: You need to use these talents or you're a fucking noob! You're not allowed to be different!
Talents should be like the ones from path of exile. Not in terms of scope, but in terms of design. Different size talents according to how much they change playstyle.
A talent system like torghast but in dungeons, Nothing changes in the dungeon but as you progress you get a new choice to upgrade a spell for the rest of the dungeon, helps keep each run from then on our potentially different experience.
You see this is the problem I have with the WoW community. They seem to like complaining about all the things wrong with the game. Make a suggestion about how to improve the game and they will shut it down with walls of negativity essays. Ask them if they have a better idea and they will either not give you an answer, write a essay about how Blizzard never listens, or give you answer that they themselves, will not take seriously.
