  1. Does anyone else feel.. Irked by this? It doesn't feel like Platinum. The machinima style, the pacing, the script.. Even the subject material seems specific and deliberate in a way that seems utterly ulterior.

    Somethings off.

  2. not to be that git but moira overwatch is Irish. speaking of the irish, I heard that the earthen in the war within are going to be leaning a bit more on irish inspirations rather than the scottish like the standard dwarves. i wonder how that will play into the stories of the questing zones in this expac.

  3. Well I will be damned….I knew most things about the dwarfes but full story of Moira kinda missed me….ngl she is quite interesting and strong leader

  4. correction on the war of the three hammers: The Wildhammers initially went to Twilight Highlands, Grim Batol was their initial new home… after it became haunted they went to Hinterlands.

  5. ok i admit that reunion with her father made me teary eye. But know what's something I kinda wished we seen in BFA? See in Zuldazar, there is a quest zone where the dark iron dwarves are present. Alliance side you help them, horde side you fight them. Overall, I thought that meants we were gonna see more of them in that zone or even later in the story. Once the Battle of Dazar'alor was a thing, I was hoping, wanting, really wished we could see Moira shine, even maybe deal the killing blow with king Rasthakan (cause of the whole ice troll business and they were indirectly responsible for her mother's death or something) but nay, it was Greymane and Jaina… AGAIN!
Seriously, Blizzard used her well but also at the same time, underuse her in recent content. She can wield light magic and shadow magic, maybe get her involve with the void elves or the lightforge draenei or something!

  6. thank you so much for compiling these important lore histories into a relatively bite sized and digestible format, you have the perfect blend of humour while sticking to the facts and it's really appreciated

  7. Characters in WoW only seem well written because every other characters is a one dimensional cardboard cutout with zero personality that monologue at each other. So any character with an ounce of character really really REALLY stands out. Doesnt mean they are good characters though.

  8. Ah, another reminder that the Alliance did (almost) everything wrong during Classic.
Joking aside, I've always loved Moira's story since first venturing into Blackrock Depths, killing the emperor to "save" her, only to be told off in the most spectacular manner. Aaaand then having to go back to daddy Magni to tell him that yeah, we kinda failed in your quest, your daughter is royally pissed at you, and she's expecting a baby.

  9. In all honesty, I only realized the connection between the 2 Moira's when you mentioned it, and I've known of the 2 Moira's for a long time!

It is now my headcannon that OW Moira is an alternate universe version of WOW Moira.

  10. Naaaah, I feel like Muradin not standing up to help Varian is very out of character, dude was one of the bravest dwarves out there, leading a hopeless expedition to the ends of the earth and willing to follow Arthas until his own (almost) demise, don't bring me this shit that he was too scared about some political mumbo jumbo to lend a hand out in his own front yard.

  11. yay! platinum wow is the only content creator who can somewhat correctly pronounce the Thaurissan last name. Bellular calls her "tha-roos-e-an" which is just all kinds of f*cked and weird.
