Are we going to ignore the fact that Creeping Death is irrelevant but takes up a last talent row spot? It adds more burden of refreshing dots instead of helping the spec feel fluent
I still wish aff's dots did more damage.
One thing that makes Destro unviable for m+ regardless of tuning is the aoe being mostly local and fixed. It's very rare to get full value of any rain of fire since the tanks have to move.
There's nothing better than to be forced to play talents and legendaries that reduce your cool downs rather than having the cool down reduced in the first place and having actual fun legendaries to plsy with that ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING
we just need soul swap back for mythic + or seed of corruption spreads all dots on current target

What if they made the splash dmg for demo wider, it has the aoe it’s just stacked and that can be a problem with a moving tank. Plus a dmg buff, to wild imps, maybe to Hand as well, maybe make Hands initial dmg based off soul shards spent so it can be instant cast making demo even more mobile similar to BM.
Cataclysm should be baseline and they need to create a single target spell talent to replace it. One that generates a soul shard.
I'd like to see soul fire baseline for destro and make it an execute like it was for demo in cata below 30%hp its cast time is reduced by 40% think that's how it was and casting soulfire refreshed the buff so target gets below 30% then spam soulfire till dead

i would like to see a buff to shadowbolt damage so it does damage = to a direct damage spell
rather than the current damage being equal to a tick on a dot…. extremely underwhelming
so that decimating bolt can pair with nightfall.
So a proc nightfall damage could = to a 4 dot rapture for single target / pvp
I play mages, locks (both since Vanilla) and rogues (since Legion) and I'm sorry Kalamazi, you can't have it all.
Frost mages and rogues can't spread cleave or multidot, which are BY FAR one of the best niches on raids. So it's only fair most of their damage is frontloaded.
EDIT: see your criticism about Demo's lack of spread cleave. I repeat: you can't have it all.

Demonology has been obsolete since blizzard fell in love with every pull having adds, even questing out in the wow world you can seldom pull a mob with out getting 3 or 4 with it.
warlock has been top 3 dps every expansion, sometimes even 2 or 3 specs at the same time, what big issues they even have 😀 some specs dont do even half what warlocks can do 😀

after playing lock for 10+ years I don't think the direction it's going (the "meta" being burst dmg rather than ROT specs – pvp wise, demo lock being a meme forever etc.) is the right one… so I'm slowly preparing to change main…

I will try to give constructive feedback as i am watching the video:
I disagree with the point u make on the Inferno build for destro, because even if the tank is not pulling around u, the legendary power itself helps u reduce the CD on your infernal so that u can use it more often, u say in the video at 10:26, "i still have a minute and a half left in my inferno", and at exacly 11:31 your infernal was off cd(and u were opening logs and not doing the rotation) . Moving from pack to pack and spending some shards would probably make infernal have like 1 minute Cd, and that is insane given how strong the CD is. I think its a good damage profile for mythic+, imagine how it will be as we get more gear.
I completely aggre with the Darkglare change, but I think that it being not very strong alow the rest of the kit to be stronger, and that itself gives affliction an amazing and consistent damage profile for every pull in M+.
For demo, i think what it needs is a change to some undertuned, or very hard to use talents, especially doom and Nether portal, I think if they make nether portal a very strong single target cd it would make demonology have the damage profile u mention in the video, and doom… well, doom is now mostly here for the fantasy put its not really a good spell, the very particular way it works make it very bad, I think if it was a normal dot that u can spread it would be nice for spread AoE, and idk a way to make it interact with the rest of the kit, but it would be amazing too.

What if they took felstalker/observer away and gave affliction Dark Glare as a bse pet, which would increase the dots time by a small amount every attack in the cost of losing the spellsteal ability? Like it would prioritize the targets with the dots that are almost ending over the ones you just apllied. And also gave destro the Infernal instead of the imp with an ability that would give you soulshards or fragments of them based on how many enemies it would burn with the aoe damage. Do you think it would be hard to balance this?
Imagine a world, where Sow The Seeds tallet: applied agony instead of sending extra seeds. Getting corruption and agony on all the targets would feel a ton better.
I'm split between playing a lock or hunter for Shadowlands. I like all 6 specs between the two classes.

They need to rework deomonolgy just a little bit to make talents other than Consumption viable for the final tier
