  1. There are some good memories from each expansion – story and quests, even if everything else was sh!t. But classic…damn, it feels so good to be in that world. Retail just hasn't been able to replicate that immersion, character feel, etc ever since. Ye Cataclysm leveling was somewhat refreshing…but it still lacked something, too much hand-holding already. Not to mention that Retail has so many things wrong, even class fantasy is long gone.

  2. I think there is at least one mistake. They showed footage of MC back in 2001, where Savix mentioned its probably devs testing MC. If I remember correctly though, MC was rushed to be finished shortly before release in 2004. Otherwise, an interesting look back.

  3. Man to me vanilla wow was the best. Burning crusade was good but wow was never the same after it released. I eventually quit half way through wotlk. All my friends quit and the game was not made to play solo.

  4. I was 10 when vanilla wow came out. I had no idea what to do besides kill mobs and do quests. Terrible gear, no professions, bad talents, but I got to lvl 42. Then my parents stopped paying for my sub 😂 my friends grew out of it too, so it was whatever at the time. 20 years later and I am coming back every once in a while for the classic experience. So good
