With all the buffs, nerfs and changes, we need to check out how the new 11.0.5 melee tier list looks like in dungeons because you can bet there are some changes compared to our previous war within melee dps tier list 🙂

As shown in the video, we take our data from warcraft logs, raider.io and archon.gg to try to differentiate the specs and make an objective war within melee tier list so by no means is this a personal dps tier list!

  1. These tier lists are only viable for keys above +12-13 . For every key under 8-10 , 90% of this isn't accurate . And i think this is a huge misslead to the player base who don't know that because i'm sick of +6 – +8 pug keys asking only for the classes they saw " meta" in youtube tier lists. Correct title : " 11.0.5 Melee Tier List in M+ for High end content only " .

  2. I don’t get ret in B, it outdoes every single class by miles it seems in every group I’m in. Also windwalker in c, it also outdoes almost every other spec in my experience, anybody else notice this too?

  3. Are 10s doable by every spec? Yes. Is it worlds easier if you bring a DK, Shaman, and Aug? Yes. Don’t hate ppl for wanting to find the best classes for their keys. If you play a spec that brings less than DK or Sham, push your own key and bring what you want or find a static team. 🤷‍♂️

For the ppl who r saying tier lists don't matter since everyone can do +15s clearly don't play pug u simply won't find a group and when u make ur own group ull get the meta spec assuming same rio and logs cuz there's just a higher chance of beating the key with meta specs so yeah it does matter and honestly just play the meta specs it's just more fun to top the dps meters to know u r valuable unless of course u absolutely hate what's meta now

    tier list should end at 10. and while all classes CAN do 10s, not all classes do it as easily and this list does NOT reflect who can do 10s easiest.

  6. S tier are the ones that are going to be used in competitive scenarios, or are at the first page of raider io ladderboards= enhancement shamans and Frost Dk.
    A tier are the ones that are very good, and they start to appear on the next pages of the ladder board = assassination rogues and Ret paladin.

    Yoy can fill B, C and D with the rest.

  7. I don’t care what anyone says, Unholy Rider playing the Superstrain disease build is by far the most fun and comfy way to play melee this season.

    The vast majority playing mythic+ are not in organized groups, where Frost DK would be generally better. They certainly aren’t doing keys above +10 either so these tier lists seem a bit niche.

You should bring up band wagon players in your videos on tier lists, people need to know all because you see a decent meta class sign up for your key doesn't mean they are a good player, meta classes are mental traps for people who just want to do top damage but don't even know what the class actually brings to the table. I can't even tell you how many meta class players I've played with, with over 2200+ io that don't even use poison cleanse totem, or even use grips…..sure you can top the meter but zero interrupts and no cc or utility is annoying. A great player is someone who can top damage or come close to, while being one of the top on interrupts, with them most cc, least amount of avoidable damage taken and least deaths

  9. i play windwalker and is a trash dps. fun to play i love it but the dps is way to.low when you do keys 10+
    i stopped playing the game because of this. afther i done all the keys 10 and a few 11 i didn't see the need to struggle to paly amd push keys
    so i deleted the game
    maybe if they do significant buff on ww i will come back but is very unlikely that will ever happen

  10. Unpopular opinion: These videos suck. (pretty well edited, info is good and Flame is great, i really like this channel been here since it was a pvp channel) But most players are lame and the video can be very misleading. People pugging 10's ( even 5-8 lol) actually believe that dungeons CAN'T be done without a group full of meta classes. It's just stupid and this issue is going to kill casual (pugging scene) M+ someday.

    Not saying is Flame or Marcelian fault. But players are wild dude. I hope Blizzard do something soon. I'm actually very tired at this point and it's just season 1. Playing with friends and discord makes M+ a pretty fun experience (imagine having friends in wow in 2024). But pugging can actually kill the will to play at some point and it's not acceptable.

  11. A tierlist based on what players did on a certain class is not accurate at all.
    Even high end players have very biased oppinions on classes and only play the ones with the best dmg, even when another specc is just slightly behind.

    For example sub rogue: Yeah ok the highest sub only timed 14+ so far. But not because it's dmg is not good enough for 15+. There are only very few people playing 15+ and above anyways and those minmax everything. I bet 100k gold a sub rogue could time a 15, maybe even a 16+ key if one of the high end assas would play it.

  12. Bro, best explanation of the fluid exponential difference in difficulty-to-class ever. I'm a manufacturing engineer in RL and this kind of metrics breakdown is exactly what finally makes the average person understand what's really going on. I've explained this concept to no end playing wow, and it just doesn't sink in with people. Very well done!

  13. Im really confused as to how feral went into C tier while havoc is in the middle of B tier. Looking at archon in the 7-18 range feral has a score of 2773 while havoc has 2745, at "high keys" feral is 3074 while havoc is 3040. It also shows feral doing more dps than havoc in both groups, which can also be seen from mythicstats which shows that for +12 and higher keys havoc is only above MM and aug for end of dungeon DPS on average. At top 5% dps only spriest and WW get added below it according to mythicstats. I mean hearing you say that havoc "is cranking" only to cut to Jedith in his 2 minute burst finishing the pack below the ret pally, while also being able to see overall, just felt very disconnected. I will admit that im not an expert on looking into how each site gets their data or processes it, which is why i looked at multiple, but im really not seeing how havoc is better than feral in m+ right now. Both just have 1 dude doing a couple 16s, the difference is feral looks to be statistically higher in both io and damage when you look at all of the 12s-15s.
