  1. 9.1 has a lot of work to do. Sire Denathrius was the only villain of Shadowlands that I had any interest in. The Jailer is just too boring and one-note and Sylvanas is probably gonna get redeemed which is gonna be the worst thing Blizzard writes in years.

  2. Anyone else feeling that Sylvanas and Arthas get more and more similar storylines?
Their homes get ravaged by death.
Both go to northrend to take revenge on the evil that made their people suffer.
Both die in northrend and come back as an ally of death to ravage the world.
Both force a paragon to mindlessly serve. Both work with kel'thuzad.

The main difference I See is that Arthas was basically a slave after his soul was taken. Sylvanas in the other hand has free will right now (as far as we know). Which makes her kinda worse? I guess?

  3. 1. I wonder if Lo'sho (Youngest and Blue Moon) is the mythical interpretation of the Winter Queen.
    2. The Broker Al'firim, in his expedition book, said that many mortals worship false gods.
    3. Therefore, mortals worship false gods, actual gods, and gods whose origins and stories are misinterpreted.

  4. I'm worried that we're all building up some huge plot twist in our heads, and will just get a very subpar story ending. Still.. right now, anything is on the table and I'm excited!

  5. I hope that we defeat Sylvanas and the jailor having no use for her failure, casts her into the deepest pit of the maw from which there is no return. Yet she learned of this place and has a Valkyr waiting there for her and others she wants captured before they fall too far.

Then at the end of the expansion, the jailor is controlling Anduin somewhere, we fight him and Sylvanas shows up with her Valkyr. She hasn't had any effect from the Jailor's control so she doesn't have what it takes to break Anduin free, but Arthas can who was also captured by her Valkyr. They help us defeat Anduin and Arthas is glad to have saved someone who is worthy of being king before leaving. Meanwhile, Sylvanas went to find the Jailor. We try and catch up but can't find them. Suddenly we hear a pained banshee cry, leading us to the Jailor who killed Sylvanas, but she weakened him to open up the door for us.

I'm not entirely sure if everything would line up with all the lore over the years but that's just personally what I'd love to see.

  6. I been missing my Nobbel story telling videos! Blizzard should really hire him to do catch up lore videos and have blizz pay for an animator to to the graphics for the video

  7. Sylvanas needs to go away, like forever. She was great back when she was doing arguably evil things for her people to survive, but now she's just playing second fiddle to the big baddie.

  9. i personally think i figured out why sylvanas is different in this regard towards anduin then she is to others.

Anduin is her emotional counterpart, a good version of arthas, wich makes ehr emotional about the whole thing more then it should.

The Forsaken, those she rose into undeath, she already considered them to be "pawns, you ebetter serve" since they where rose by the powers ofthe maw in some way shape or form. Derek, she didnt knew, didnt really care about, he was undead anywy, "suppsoed" to serve her anyway. The horde was manipulated enough, those few who resisted where more just a pain, and who knows maybe she didnt fully care becouse "her plans with the jailer woulkd work anyway at that point."

But Anduin… its too much "the better end of what arthas couldve been" , too muich "the polar opposite of ehr mindset", He is the last boulder that reminds her of her "shred of mortallity", becouse no matter how much of enemies anduin is with someone, he still gives them chances upon chances.

Nathanos? to loyal, wasnt ever questioning her openly really.
Her sisters? Too much prior drama, but at the reunion in the comics there was a shred left, who knows if it still is, however, vereesa and alleria seem a bit too aggressive, less "chances giving" to me.

it like "the perfect counterpart to trigger the shred she has left" , and she wants to convicne him without mindcontroll, the last thing she feels like is triggering this last shred, so she can feel like being the victor.

this is a concept that subtly shows up in alot of stories i see. its just, less obvious here, becouse of the way how scheme sylvanas is.

    anyway, thats just my theory.

  10. I am really curious if they actually go through with some of the storylines. Right now, it kinda feels like they push Sylvanas to some redemption arc (which I think would not work… she has gone to far), and Tyrande as well, who was on a pretty much self destructing so far…
Some of the actions of NPCs should actually have some consequences for them.

  11. Gotta say, as someone who has only played the first patch, I cannot follow this vid.
I know it might be hard, but try to not skip so much, some of us do not actively play anymore 😉
