The Truth of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm's Goblin Starting Zone, Kezan

Hello All! Today we take a look at one of the coolest starting zones and one that is completely destroyed after you quest here. That means ONLY Goblins can really access this Isle. But, what if I told you, Bilgewater Port isn’t what you think it is?

“GTL friend. Gamblin’, tinkerin’, laundry.” – A goblin somewhere.

I’ve always loved the Lost Isles and the goblin starting area. I just hate that we can never explore them outside of using a goblin.

  1. another excellent uncrafting! love the vids man 🙂 never seen that weird thing under the texture before, really cool how the texture is like a shell they placed over it. Maybe a placeholder?

  2. Hi! When I performed this glitch few weeks earlier, I saw what that seems to be a house with red tiles under the ground of Kezan, just right where you're standing around 2:18
Sometimes the ground is disappearing and it depends the point of view of your camera. Placing your character close to the wall and playing with camera rotation, you should be able to see it. But no way to reach the house in my case.

  3. Great video! I had heard that the out of bounds were just an empty mountain on the island. It's nice to actually be able to see what's out there like this without having to make a new character myself.
I noticed when you were falling on the mountain you pressed the menu (esc) button, does that negate fall damage? If so, I never knew that.

  4. The orange texture on the out of bounds house is a common dev texture used when making maps but not yet having decided on textures. They probably forgot to remove it or as it's out of bounds didn't feel like they needed to in the first place, just putting the house model over the box.

  5. It's sad how the only time we can visit Kezan is when playing a goblin. It's a very unique city/island and I would love to rp there. The 4 seater hot rod you get to quest there would have also been very cool as a mount!

  6. I was always fascinated by it. Its name literally means 'cauldron'. Founded more than 1000 years ago. Estimated population about 1.3 million residents. All of them seem to enjoy being active – their club won the league two consecutive times and even hosted world cup games.

  7. i was so curious about this when i first played through kezan! i was so sad to realize the in-bounds area was so small lol. its so weird how they made a whole island like this that no one was ever supposed to see and was only used in an area people cant even go back to! its so easy to imagine how much more city could fit on it
