Basically everything in Warcraft 3 was the Jailer. Sargeras, The Lich King, Sylvanas – everything stems from the Jailer’s plans. Let’s explain exactly how that all works. And… some of my thoughts, as well.

  1. Incoming next expansion:
You thought Zovaal was the big guy pulling all the strings all along? HAHAHAHA! Little did you know, that in truth Azeroth herself manipulated Elune into somehow making Zovaal betray his brethren to orchestrate all the events, just so she could absorb all the powers of fel, death and void into her soul, by that transcend the bounds of Shinigami and Hollow, to curb stomp Void and light to become the ultimate master of da universe.
But in the expansion after that it is revealed, that in truth it was Moruzond all along, who manipulated the timelines in a way, that exactly this timeline would come to pass, and then he alters Azeroths age so quickly, that azeroth grows weak for just a split second and he can absorb her and truthfully become the mustard of the universe

  2. The thing that pisses me off about this the most is the fact that they made the Jailer into this godlike being who's schemes we could now see in W3 as well, yet we have never ever heard about the Jailer up until like late late BfA. If it was a character we knew from the very beginning, I wouldn't mind that, but if they are trying to make us believe that this random geezer we still know absolutely nothing about is behind the whole plot of the Warcraft franchise, then I'm sorry, but that is a shit storywriting…

  3. Honestly I don’t care for the newer storylines. They started getting farther and farther away each expansion after cataclysm. Wrath was the last good, and pure, Warcraft story imo.

  4. This wouldn't surprise anyone that actually followed the Storyline of Diablo 3; the whole plot was that Diablo himself entrusted his very soul and essence into a scheming mortal witch that obviously couldn't be trusted. It was terrible. It was worse than terrible. Blizzard doesn't do writing and plots and stories very well anymore, haven't for well over a decade.

  5. Mal'ganis: Our mission never changed. For enos, we have done the Master's bidding in secret across countless realities.
Mal'ganis: The Legion, the scourge, Argus… all pawns in a game beyond your grasp. one that now nears its end.

  6. "Warcraft III ? That old game that basically set the scene for Warcraft's immense global popularity and created the fanbase that would later be the fertile ground for WoW to flourish in ? Yeah, I guess we could remaster that and make a quick buck … or no, wait, fuck it, looks like we'd have to update a whole bunch of connected systems and possibly invest about 15% of Kotick's yearly bonus in order for it to be any good….. yeah screw it, just release it broken and then retcon everything that happened in that game instead.
