Looking back at these is so cool!
As a gamer who also writes about liminal spaces for my profession, I had to Google liminal space in video games after the video for this to make sense. Turns out the definition of liminal space in video games is more literal than that of actual real life spaces. In real life we might talk about how activities at a liminal place would make people feel, classic examples being spiritual or ritualistic in their nature, as opposed to a literal portal from one zone to the next.
